ECIVwap

This tool includes few VWAP based indicators :
* ECIVwap
* ECIVwapAnchorVwap
* ECIVwapChannel
* ECIVwapBracket

Version 1.4 Compiled under V1210.

The ECIVwap computes Volume Weighted Average Price for Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly periods, and draws extensions of previous periods.
Vwap computation tries to be as accurate as possible since using volume at all prices in each bar, and is compatible with Sierra Vwap when using "Base on Underlying Data" option.
This is also true for the standard deviation calculation.

The ECIVwapAnchor uses Vwap computation algorithm, but the start and end dates are can be set in different ways (manually, automatically, at major reversal points, etc.).

The ECIVwapChannel uses Vwap computation algorithm, but draws a vwap channel of a user based period number of bars.

The ECIVwapBracket uses Vwap computation algorithm, and draws a vwap until price breaks out of bottom/top levels 4 (excess levels).

To install : download and unzip the archive. Put the DLL in C:\SierraChart\Data .

ECIVwap tools are shipped under GPL and also available in the SierraChart contributed studies.

The ECO2New2 is a Momentum Oscillator that is not affected by opening gaps. See William Blau's Momentum/Direction/Divergence book.

Trading Ergodics with the Trend - Rules:

1. Enter or hold position only when slope of ECO2New2 Signal line has the same direction as the trend
2. Stand aside when slope of ECO2New2 Signal Line is in the opposite direction of trend
3. Enter or exit position when ECO2New2 and its Signal Line cross
4. Take note when the ECO2New2 is 'inside' it's signal line. This indicates failing momentum. This is what the magenta dot signifies.

Economic Calendar Indicator

The economic calendar indciator will post economic news announcements directly onto the chart along with the actual figure released. The indicator will display any economic events relevant to the currency pair displayed in the chart. For example if you are viewing USD/JPY, it will display economic releases relevant to the US and Japan. The indicator pulls data from the DailyFX economic calendar.

Economic Events - Upcoming Events

This indicator creates a text box with upcoming economic events to alert the trader of possible market moving announcements.

In this screenshot, taken on 15:56 local time (Western-Europe), you can see that Geithner was about to speak in 4 minutes (a Medium impact event) and the American business inventories were also announced in four minutes.

Most of the settings are self-explanatory. The 'TicksOffSetBottom' is the number of ticks you want the text box be displayed above the lowest value on the price scale. The 'RecalcAfter' is the number of seconds the box is updated - this is included to prevent excessive updating from MultiCharts to keep everything running smoothing.

Important note: you'll need the Economic Events Collection for MultiCharts (found here and see this thread) to use this indicator.

Changelog
v1.01 - February 15th, 2012
There was a logarithmic error in the original version published on February 14th, which would trigger a "Logarithmic error" pop-up message when the remaining minutes for an economic event was 0 minutes. This error is fixed now and the new version attached to this post.

My sincere apologies for this inconvenience.

Economic News Indicator for NT8

Version 1.0.1:

This indicator shows the economic news for the day on your chart in Ninjatrader 8. It is fully configurable for the type of news items you would like to see, the colors of different impact news items, the fonts you want to use and which countries you would like to see news items for.

Version 1.0.2:

- Not displaying date as the news is for the current day only. Will refresh automatically for the next day
- Showing the time of the news item in its raw format as it comes from the source

Version 1.0.3:

- Fixed layout bug when no news items are returned

Version 1.0.4:

- Indicator now allows time offset to be configured to show news announcement time in your time zone, thanks to @sagor

Version 1.0.5:

- Fixed a bug where the event time was not assigned to the new time with the applied times zone. Times will now display correctly in your chosen time offset.

Version 1.0.6:
-Parsing the source date with US date format. Indicator will now work for users that have a non standard date format. Thanks @Aregon for helping out with the debugging
-Can now specify a right hand margin to offset the indicator if necessary

-Renamed Right Hand Margin parameter to Left Hand Margin, which it actually is

Version 1.0.8:

-Removed code that overrides grid line settings on a chart. Indicator will now leave grid lines as per chart template.

Economic News Indicator v2a

I have created a basic economic news indicator using the ForexFactory feed. It's pretty much a port of the FFCal indicator for Metatrader.

Ed's Levels Histogram V2.3 Updated

Ed's Levels Histogram V4V2.3 Updated

This is a port of Ed's Levels V4 from NT7.

Shows a histogram of the bid-ask levels, as appears on the DOM display.

Please see here for the Eds levels thread and my latest beta update (V4V4.2). This update will hopefully reduce multi-threading issues.

The options are self explanatory, however, you can adjust the positioning of the plot by setting "Buffer Right" and "Margin %".

I have added some more features including:

* A vertical column showing the current Bid/Ask pressure.

* A vertical column showing the current bar delta.

* Triangle symbols showing the current average of the bid and ask. (These fill if the average is > 1st standard deviation of the other).

* Standard deviation coloring.

Caveat:

Occasionally when starting with market replay an error is printed, although in practice this rarely occurs and generally works seamlessly.

As Sim22 said in his excellent Eds Level2 V4.4: "Speculator Ed's Level 2 indicator inspired from John Thom's jtRealStats indicator."

This customization:

adds selectable DOM bid/ask sizes to be drawn and selectable DOM bid/ask sizes for alerts
adds selectable sound files from the Sounds folder for alert warnings
adapted BobC's logic for picking those alert audio files
alerts print in the Alerts Log with DOM size and price level
cumulative depth calculation uses only chosen DOM sizes for totals (this is to the left of the bid/ask numbers)

Set Up:
Chart Properties need to be adjusted for Right margin size. 88 works very well.
Sound files need to be created in the NinjaTrader8 sounds folder if you require specific audio files.
