was the time in the property of the chart

I was outting session time 9:30am to 4:30 pm. I thought these were just markers. Come time find out the charts stopped at 4:30pm.

This has happened twice. My chart stops moving. After I buy and it gets stopped out the chart stays where I was stopped out and does not move with the price any more. If I close the chart and reopen...
