SessionVWAP Weekly (amaCurrentWeekVWAP) 5 *
Version 2.0 August 11, 2017

The Current Week VWAP is the volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of a security for the current week. The VWAP gives a fair reflection of the market conditions throughout the trading week and is one of the most popular benchmarks used by large traders.

The Current Week VWAP can be set to calculate for the entire trading week or it can be set to calculate for custom hours such as the regular session only. The VWAP further comes with volume-weighted standard deviation bands or quarter range bands. Although the VWAP uses volume information, it is best set to “Calculate” = “On price change”. It is not necessary to recalculate it with each incoming tick.

Trading hours template: The trading hours template should be set to <instrument settings> or any other trading hours template that reflects the contractual trading hours of the instrument.

Full_Session: The VWAP will be calculated for the full session as selected per trading hours template.

Custom_Hours: You may select custom hours for calculating the VWAP in different time zones.

Standard_Deviation: The volatility bands are calculated as a selectable multiple of the standard deviation, where the standard deviation is calculated for the selected session and week.

Quarter_Range: The volatility bands are calculated as a selectable multiple of the quarter range for the current week.

Accuracy: The indicator calculates both VWAP and volatility bands from the primary bars shown on the chart. All data points of each bar are used for the calculation in order to obtain the best possible result. However, accuracy also depends on the chart resolution. Accuracy increases as trading volume accumulates.

SessionVWAP Daily (amaCurrentDayVWAP) 5 *
Version 2.5 October 27, 2019

The Current Day VWAP is the volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of a security for the current day’s trading session. The VWAP gives a fair reflection of the market conditions throughout the trading day and is probably the most popular benchmark used by large traders.

The Current Day VWAP can be set to calculate for the entire trading day or it can be set to calculate for custom hours such as the regular session only.

Standard_Deviation: The volatility bands are calculated as a selectable multiple of the standard deviation, where the standard deviation is calculated for the selected session.

Quarter_Range: The volatility bands are calculated as a selectable multiple of the quarter range for the current session.

Accuracy: The indicator calculates both VWAP and volatility bands from the primary bars shown on the chart. All data points of each bar are used for the calculation in order to obtain the best possible result. However, accuracy also depends on the chart resolution. Accuracy increases as trading volume accumulates. Therefore it is recommended to select an early anchor point and only use VWAP and volatility bands once they have stabilized.

Relative Volume (amaRelativeVolume) 5 *
Version 1.1 July 21, 2017

Only to be used with minute or daily charts.

The Relative Volume indicator measures the volume of a minute bar or a daily bar against the average volume for the same time of the day over the preceding n days. The indicator comes with two different options to calculate the relative volume:

All_Days: Today's volume is compared to the average volume of the N preceding business days. The default value is N = 40. With the setting "All_Days" the indicator requires the use of proper trading hours templates which match the trading day of the instrument traded. Trading hours templates that cut the week into arbitrary sessions - such as the session template 24/7 - cannot be handled by the indicator and will trigger an error message.

Day_Of_Week: Today's volume is compared to the average volume calculated for the same day of the week over the N preceeding weeks. The default value is N = 8. With the setting "Day_Of_Week", all session templates can be handled.

Relative Volume: The relative volume is shown as a percentage of the average volume calculated over the reference period.

Cumulated ratio: Compares the cumulated volume of the current day to the average cumulated volume of the selected reference period.

Holidays: Holidays as selected via the indicator dialogue box may be excluded from all calculations.

Default settings: Relative volume bars between 80% and 120% of the normal volume are shown as white bars. Higher relative volume bars are shown as blue bars, lower relative volume bars are shown as red bars.

CamsVpR4 Volume Profile for NT8 5 *
CamsVp is a volume profile indicator for NinjaTrader 8 with added features of delta, footprint and imbalance. CamsVp has great flexibility in the selection of chart regions from which to generate a profile. The start and end of regions may be defined as window, date, current, bar and daily. There is also a handy mouse drawing tool to define regions. A region may be as small as one bar or as large as computer memory capacity. There is no limit as to the number of regions that can be drawn. Granularity can be chosen to minimize computer load especially for large time span profiles. CamsVp automatically configures itself according if a chart's Tick Replay feature is enabled. Calculation mode and bid/ask delta are affected. Scales may be mixed, for instance a volume profile can be shown with a Delta scale.

Detailed instructions and discussion thread is here:

Market Depth Historical Graph 5 *
MDHG for Sierra Charts with volume profile histograms, VAH/VAL/VPOC (Current version = 1543) This was posted at the SC support board and I modified it.

There are two studies hidden, they can both be enabled if so desired. One is a different trade indicator study and the other is a volume study in region 2.

This was initially made for /CL and I'm using it for /ES.

The Volume profile value areas may not be precise, I'm more accustomed to MP, although the VPOC does appear to be accurate.

The large volume trade indicator will need to be adjusted to whatever suits the trade levels the end user likes to see.

I personally have remove the DOM depth, it can be disabled/enabled via Trade > Show Depth

Relative Volume aka CSI (Cumulative Sheep Index)

I have had this indicator converted from NT7 for use on NT8

This indicator shows volume at the time of day relative to the prior n days. This is very useful in terms of identifying when volume is picking up or slowing down. The absolute value is not as important as whether it is rising or falling. As participation changes, the price action changes too. Probably one of the best ways to analyze volume/participation in the markets.

Tried and tested on NT8 8.0.0.12 64-bit (Standard) - BETA

GomBidAskVolume for Ninja 7 5 *
Exported using Ninja Trader 64-bit 7.0.1000.31

I was searching for some time to find an indicator to simply show Bid and Ask Volume.
After searching here [and elsewhere] I found this revised version of the GomDelta indicator [here on futures.io].

This indicator relies on having access to Gomi binary data and will only work if you have already installed the Gomi packages [and have them working].

I like to use this on a 1 minute and a 5 minute candle chart, to see who is winning the Buy/Sell [Bid/Ask] battle at that moment.
Having said that it can also be used on Tick, Range, Reversal, Volume or Renko charts if you prefer to use it on one of those.

I'm not sure who made these modifications?
All I've done here is hard code some of my Color and Bar size preferences to suit my Black format charts.

Trade well,
TGN

Relative Volume V23 5 *
Exported using NT version 7.0.1000.26

Only to be used with minute or daily charts.

The relative volume indicator measures the volume of a fixed period bar against the average volume over the same period during the preceding n days. The version which can be downloaded here allows for two different comparisons:

All_Days: Today's volume is compared to the average volume of the N preceding business days. The default value is N = 40. With the setting "All_Days" the indicator requires the use of proper session templates which match the trading day of the instrument traded. Session templates that cut the week into arbitrary sessions - such as the session template 24/7 - cannot be handled by the indicator and will trigger an error message.

Day_Of_Week: Today's volume is compared to the average volume calculated for the same day of the week over the N preceeding weeks. The default value is N = 8. With the setting "Day_Of_Week", all session templates can be handled.

Holidays: Holidays as selected via the indicator dialogue box are excluded from all calculations.
Daylight savings schedules: The indicator automatically adjusts to different daylight savings zones.

The histogram shows the relative volume for the period of the day. For example on the chart today's highest relative volume occured after a news release, just prior to the start of the regular session. Compared to the last 40 business days, the relative volume was 593% (about 6 times higher than for a normal business), whereas it was 509% (about 5 times higher than for a normal Friday). The cumulated volume for today is 26% higher compared to an average business day and 20% higher compared to an average Friday.

Average volume bars - between 80% and 120% of normal volume - are shown as white bars. If the relative volume exceeds 120% the histogram color is green, below 80% it is red. The colors can be selected by the user.

Update February 26, 2013: Following the rescheduling of the daily trading sessions by CME in November 2012, the indicator did not work correctly. I had published a new version in the thread on the Relative Volume Indicator, which is now available for download here.
Update October 28, 2013: Null check added when calling ChartControl. The indicator can now be used as input series for other indicators or strategies.
Update December 5, 2014: Indicator entirely recoded. Indicator is now considerably faster and should cope with different data feeds. Option added to compare today's volume to all prior business days. The prior version could only do comparisons for the same day of the week.
Update December 10; 2014: Error message added to inform user when the chart lookback period is insufficient.
Update December 29, 2014: Holiday calendar and error messages updated.

IntradaySeasonality V12 5 *
Exported using NT Version 7.0.0.25

The download file contains two indicators which can be used to explore the average range and volume of any intraday time period over a selected lookback period. The average takes into account the day of the week. For example the average volume displayed for any bar period on Wednesdays is only calculated from data taken from prior Wednesdays.

With default settings the indicators calculate average range and average volume from the prior 20 weeks (reference period). The result is then displayed for the last 2 weeks (display period) of the chart. The lookback period of the chart should be larger than the sum of reference and display period. With default setting the minimum lookback period would be 22 weeks + 1 day = 155 days.

The indicators can only be used with fixed period charts (for example 30 min or 60 min charts).

Please take into account that NinjaTrader cuts off the bars at the end of a session. Therefore the last bar of each session may show a comparatively low volume. The indicator does not convert this volume into a pro-forma volume by extrapolating the volume to a full bar.

Update September 16, 2014: Holiday calendar added, day of week is displayed below the histogram.

Detailed explanations how to use the indicator can be found here:
