Better Renko for NinjaTrader V2

BetterRenko bars for Ninja Trader.

Just import into NT, and restart NT. You should then have a "BetterRenko" type available in the intervals in the data series window. The brick size is specified in number of ticks.

New twist on Renko to fix some of the quirks of Renko. All data is real data, so should be able to backtest with these bars. A new bar style is also available as a different download called BetterBrick, but it is not required as CandleSticks or OHLC can be used.

V2 changes alignment of first bar to be mod brickSize. In NT65, this is first bar, in NT7 it is first bar of each session.

DoubleMA

This is a simple port of the famous DoubleMA for NinjaTrader. I say simple because it's only a few lines, where the NT version is hundreds of lines (needlessly).

Read the code to understand the 'type' selections, it is easy.

A profitable MaCross system

3 months ago, i start to program customized indicators and strategies on NinjaTrader6.5 and MetaTrader4. This MaCross system combined with MACD indicator is my recent work. Today i back tested this strategy with 15-Minute bars chart, testing date from 2010-04-21 to 2010-08-05, parameter setting just keep default. Attached picture is the test result, the net profit(except commission) is $8475.

Maybe you can find better setting for this strategy. Cheers!

MacdMultiMa

This Macd can let you apply 4 kind of MA(SMA, EMA, HMA, WMA). You can specify each line's MA method. Also there is the threshold yellow line by which you can identify side way of market. If histogram bar doesn't break yellow line for a while, the market goes into the side way. This indicator works on NinjaTrader6.5 and NinjaTrader7.

TSS_Strategy

This is essentially my first strategy. It uses TSSuperTrend as an entry setup trigger and a trailing profit line. It was derived from dsraider's Advanced Sample Strategy and shares some of those traits.
The inputs are profit target ticks, initial stop ticks, TSS multiplier, BE & Trail parameters.
The chase limit and times to trade are not inputs, got to change in code.

Entries use StopLimit orders usually.
Only have one active position open at a time
Cancels entry order if market moves "chase Limit #=3" ticks away from limit order without filling
No scaling

Uses TSSuperTrend 2.3 but does not include it - you must already have it. I am unsure of the ethics regarding repackaging of his indicator & therefore will not. That means the zip file is ONLY the strategy .cs file which must be placed in your \My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\Custom\Strategy folder.

Exported with NT 6.5-16. Not recommended for NT7.

Congestion Counts

Congestion Counts help measure how many consecutive bars overlap each other. High counts can be a clue that the market is very range bound and building energy. There are two types of congestion counts to consider, the group method seemingly more useful. This was originally downloaded from here, which is sometimes a very slow link.

Trading Record Keeping

I think one of the most important things to do is keep track of your money.

Here is a set of spreadsheets I built that you can download. There are different tabs for each of the instruments you might trade and an overall section that combines each tab. All you have to do is enter the information into the white squares, and the program does all of the math and graphs.

I also have graphs that display your progress.

Finally I included a sheet that you can print and keep a daily log (record) of your efforts while you are trading (spreadsheets and trading don't mix well in real time).
