ECIDiv V7 : Divergence detector 5 *
Please remove old version before installing this one.

Current version is V7

This indicator tries to detect price/indicator divergence.

Any indicator in Ninja can be used and detection is possible on historical and real time charts.
To set the user indicator : goto ECIDiv parameters / Data / Input Series and choose your indicator.
When the user indicator data uses multiple periods, the Plot input is used.

ECIDiv was designed for standard Ninja period types. Usage of other period types is not guaranteed nor supported.

The divergence computation uses local turning points (called pivots) calculated on the price and the user indicator input.
When price and indicator diverge (regular or hidden divergences) an audio and visual signal is given.
Size of pivot (number of bars to the left and right) is adjustable (default size is 1).

Reminder :
Regular Divergence occurs when :
* Long signal : price makes LL and indicator HL.
* Short signal: price makes HH and indicator LH.
Hidden Divergence occurs when :
* Long signal: price makes HL and indicator LL.
* Short signal : price makes LH and indicator HH.
(LL = Lower Low, HL = Higher Low, HH = Higher High, LH = Lower High).

ECIDiv draws the input indicator. If you don't want it to be drawn, simply set it to transparent.

The input method introduced in the V7 is based on the one used by the indicator DivergenceInputSeries (that you can also find in Big Mike Forum).

TODO :
* Continue watching Big Mike Trading users feedback.

Ehlers' Cycle Analytics For Traders 5 *
Ehlers' Cycle Analytics For Traders, TraderGB, April 20, 2021

Description: 18 indicators from "Cycle Analytics For Traders" by John F. Ehlers.

Notes:
1) All indicators will go to the "Ehlers" folder and will have a prefix of "jfe".
2) Only showing a few indicators on the chart. It wouldn't be practical to show all.
3) Within the script there's a description of the indicator.
4) If you really want to learn about the indicators, I suggest reading the book.
5) Doing an online search is an alternative to learning more about these indicators.

Ergodic and CCI Histograms 5 *
This download file contains two custom histogram indicators: CCIHist and ErgodicHist

The visual design and use of these two indicators is essentially the same, the difference being the underlying indicator (CCI or Ergodic). Using the visual controls provided, the indicator presentation can be configured in a wide variety of ways. Both indicators are optimized for NinjaTrader 7.

The default settings for both indicators are pre-configured to specifications outlined in JD's ATM thread (link below) at this link is further description and images showing a variety of indicator configuration settings and styles...

https://nexusfi.com/elite-trading-journals/30600-alpha-trading-method-ninjatrader-advanced-trade-management-jdneeman-32.html

The files were exported with NinjaTrader Version 7.0.1000.26

Change Log:

03-13-2014 :
CCIHist - Fix optimization logic affecting calculated value when COBC=false. Hard coded input type for CCIHist to Typical. Added control to color the signal line.
ErgodicHist - Added control to color the signal line.

10-24-2015 - Added Sound Alert for Signal Line crossovers ("cross dots")

GW_TriDiff 5 *
Name: GW_TriDiff Version: 1.0

Platform: TOS (Use import function in TOS)

Description:

I use this indicator every day in my futures trading on 3min charts. It works on all time frames, and I often consult a higher timeframe to verify the more durable and lasting trend. You can scalp and take trend trades with it. I've used Woodie's CCI, but this indicator is sooooo much easier to read! It is totally unambiguous with extremely sensitive and clear cut signals that will keep you in a trend if you want. Simply stay long while the orange line stays above zero, and short while the orange line stays below zero. This one indicator is a complete trading system unto itself. It makes me $$$. You need to paper trade it a while to get used to it.

Here's the documentation from inside the indicator:

# Author = glennw forum: bigmiketrading.com
# Indicator Name: GW_TriDiff Version: 1.0
# Timeframe: Any
# This indicator is the plot of the difference
# between a triangular moving average and a
# weighted moving average. There is a fast and slow plot
# The slow plot denotes the longer term trend (cyan line)
# being above or below zero line. There is a cloud function to
# help visulize the longer term trend above and below the
# zeroline. (Red = downtrend, yellow = uptrend)
# You can use it to scalp by playing crossovers of the cyan
# line and the signal line (gray). The orange line being
# above/below zero is confirmation of the trade direction.
# You must wait for bar to close. Don't try to catch the
# exact top/bottom. Stop is low/high of signal bar or whatever you use.
# For higher probability trades only take setups in the
# direction of the longer term trend. I always exit when price breaks
# the low/high of the previous bar and crosses the 5 period offset moving
# average or crosses and closes above/below the 5 period ATR Stop with a
# 1.5 range multiplier.
