Acceleration Deceleration 5 *
Exported using NT Version 7.0.1000.3

Bill William's Acceleration Deceleration is a relative of the MACD, but it uses the Awesome Oscillator instead of the raw MACD. The signal line is obtained by smoothing the Awesome Oscillator via a simple moving average with the period 5.

This indicator can be used as a MACD histogram, which is built from simple instead of exponential moving averages.

ACD Daily Pivot
ACD Daily Pivot for TradeStation v1.0

Works on at least TradeStation 9.0 and later

Description:
Plots the ACD daily pivot. Allows the option of choosing either the ETH session or RTH session range.

Usage:
The indicator plots the daily pivot as described in Mark Fisher's book, The Logical Trader. Fisher's subscription service uses the RTH high and low to calculate the daily pivot along with the exchange close. This indicator does that and at the same time allows the option to use the ETH session high and low instead of the RTH session. The close used by the indicator is always the exchange close which is usually reset by the exchange, and is usually different than the last print for the session, between the ETH session close and the next ETH session open.

Works on the following chart types:
  • Time Only. It might work on the other chart types but it might be inaccurate.

Input Parameters:
For session start times, use the bar time of the first bar in the session. This would vary depending upon the interval of the time chart. For instance, for CL, in a 1 min chart, the first RTH session start bar would be 801 whereas in a 5 minute chart, the first bar would be 805. To get theoretically accurate values, the correct session start and end times must be specified.
  • ETHStart- Time in HH24MM format (eg: 0800 for 8 AM and 1600 for 4 PM) specifying the ETH session start
  • ETHEnd- Time in HH24MM format (eg: 0800 for 8 AM and 1600 for 4 PM) specifying the ETH session end
  • RTHStart- Time in HH24MM format (eg: 0800 for 8 AM and 1600 for 4 PM) specifying the RTH session start
  • RTHEnd- Time in HH24MM format (eg: 0800 for 8 AM and 1600 for 4 PM) specifying the RTH session end
  • UseETH_1OrRTH_2- Specify 1 to use ETH session or 2 to use RTH session
  • ShowPivotPoint- Specify True to show the daily pivot point (in addition to the range), False to hide it.

Change Log:
  • 02/15/2014 - v1.0 - Initial Upload

ACR or Average "Clock" Range 5 *
Note: If you find bugs, have feature requests, or anything else, post in THIS thread.

This indicator was inspired by the typical ATR(Average True Range). The ATR simply reports the AVERAGE range of the last n-bars.

This indicator reports the average n-bars, OF A SPECIFIC time. The ACR line will show the AVERAGE volatility of a specific CLOCK TIME. As this is all just an average, it is all calculated at the start of the session, so the Projection can be displayed for the rest of the session. I find that this lends itself to an easier planning of the day around expected movement for various instruments.

This may show users the times of day where price is most likely to move. Helpful for users that focus on larger bars.

You can put this on whatever bar size you want, but must be used on TIME CHARTS. It doesn't make much sense to put on M1 charts imo.

This indicator operates OnEachTic().

The Period sets how many days to look back to capture a range. I.e., an M30 bar @ 9:30, with a period of 5, will display the average range of of that 9:30 bar over the past 5 periods.

Configuration Days is used to get a count of the bars in session, this is mainly useful for people with unreliable data, or putting this on fast charts. Should be able to leave on default.

NOTE: This indicator builds off of your session template, and assumes each session has an equal number of bars in it. If you have custom templates where each day has a different # of bars, this indie may not be of use.

NOTE: Installing this indicator will create a folder called "BTMM," that's where the indicator will be.

---EDIT - V2 9April2020---
Fixed Bug where the indicator was not saving properly with session or chart templates.

**New Version Sept 18/9 V1006**

Auto 3 Swing Indicator with toolbar and comprehensive support/resistance identification

**NOTE** The version has been updated. The previous version must be uninstalled before importing.
1.Open Ninjatrader 8
2.Click on TOOLS > REMOVE NINJASCRIPT ASSEMBLY
3.Select ActiveGeoking from the list and process removal
3.Import new ZIP file attached to this listing via TOOLS > IMPORT > NINJASCRIPT ADDON

Hope there are some traders out there that can benefit from this! I spent years perfecting this indicator while I was trading professionally and I am excited to share it with the community.

ActiveGeoking for NT8 leverages its own custom layer built on top of the zig zag indicator to automatically identify the three most relevant swings of any chart. A feature-rich toolbar allows the user to quickly shift the identified swings to their preference.

The identified swings are used to generate a wide array of technical price points based on Fibonacci retracements and extensions, as well as pivot highs and lows, trendlines and corrective/impulsive measured moves from Elliot wave theory. These price points can be considered areas of higher significance for the trader to consider potential future support and resistance to occur.

For anyone out there that is familiar with Bryce Gilmore's book "Trading to Win", this indicator will be recognised as highly aligned with his method of trading. The indicator utilizes an XABCD marking system, also common in other methods of TA.

Inbuilt algorithms detect when price points are invalidated by market movement so as not to display irrelevant price levels wherever possible.

Reporting of price points and swing measurements are all displayed on the screen and can be toggled on and off using the toolbar for all swing degrees and price level types.

The indicator options provide an exhaustive list of configuration options for tolerances and customized ratios for the user's preference.

**IMPORTANT** Ensure enough bars are loaded onto the chart as this indicator requires a decent amount of history for large degree swings
- 15 years for day charts
- 300 days for 60min
- 30 days for 5 min

Check out this thread below for guidelines on the indicators features which I will deliver in bite sizes pieces over time. Feel free to drop in and ask questions or provide feedback

Adaptive CCI using Ehlers calculated period 5 *
Put so much work into this that it seemed like a waste to leave it languishing in the Ninjatrader Indicators created free? thread. There are no dependencies on external indicators so all you need to do is put the cs file in your Indicator folder and compile (after removing any previous versions of this indicator that have the same CLASS NAME).

The Adaptive_CCI_db was developed by Mike Winfrey and Gumphrie in a galaxy far far away what seems like a long long time ago for NT 6.0. It needed to be completely recoded for NT7.

This indicator produces one plot, and one optional set of plots:
  1. A single plot of the CCI index, with the option to dynamically adjust the CCI period based on the market cycle length per a rather old John Ehlers algorithm that does have some shortcomings. To choose this option set the period to 1. Selecting a period other than 1 will cause a standard CCI to be plotted, with the period selected.
  2. Plots of alternate CCIs in addition to the primary CCI. The Alternate CCI's are standard CCI's with fixed periods. The number of alternate CCI's, the period value for the one with the lowest period, and the spacing of the periods are user selectable. Example: 10 alternate CCI's, fastest period = 20, spacing of periods = 2. This will plot CCI's with periods of 10 12 14 16 18 20 22 24 26 28.

Code is optimized to avoid unneeded calculations. All of the alternate CCI's are calculated by one algorithm. The alternate CCI's are completely optional. There don't need to be any, but there can be any number, within reason, please.

Adaptive Laguerre Filter (amaAdaptiveLaguerreFilter) 5 *
Version 1.1 August 1, 2017

This is a four element Adaptive Laguerre Filter as described by John Ehlers in his paper "Time Warp - Without Space Travel".

The Laguerre Filter is a smoothing filter based on Laguerre polynomials. Its first term is an EMA, which is then further smoothened with a damping factor. The damping factor may take any value between 0 and 1. When the damping factor is set to 0, the Laguerre Filter becomes a finite impulse response (FIR) filter. When the damping factor is set to a value close to 1, the filter becomes dramatically smoother, but will have a significant lag.

The Adaptive Laguerre Filter is based on the simple Laguerre Filter, but uses a variable damping factor. The damping factor is adjusted such that low frequency components are delayed more than high frequency components. The resulting filter is an adaptive moving average and can be compared to the Kaufman Adaptive Moving Average (KAMA) or the Variable Index Dynamic Average (VIDYA).

Adaptive Laguerre Moving Average 5 *
A special class of filters which "warps" short data arrays to provide extremely responsive, but very smooth movement.

This indicator also includes coloring based on slope, alerts both audio and visual chart markers. All parameters are configurable and by changing the signal mode from between 1-4 you can make the alerts happen faster.

This works on all instruments, the buffer ticks (used to determine crossovers) are based on the instruments digits so ES one tick is 0.25 where as EURUSD would be .0001

(I commissioned this indicator and it is not copyrighted feel free to modify the code)

Adaptive Laguerre QuickStart MultiColor for NT7 5 *
Thanks, itguy, for posting the Adaptive Laguerre MA. It is the best MA of this type that I have seen. I use it as a trailing, stepped MA to suggest entry and exit areas.

NOTE: The major parameter that controls this indicator is the L_Period, NOT the AdaptLength. Try slowing down the L_Period from 4 to around 10 and note what happens.

I made two minor tweaks. So most of the credit for this goes to itguy, who did the hard stuff.

The original version would start with a very low initial value and take many bars to converge upon the price series. This version will converge almost immediately after starting up.

The original version used the familiar method of switching between different colored plots to simulate a multi-color plot. This version uses the PlotColors method to change the color of a single plot, which is now a true multi color plot. That's why this indicator will work for Ninjatrader 7 ONLY.

Updated on Oct 28, 2011. Plot colors and line properties have all been moved to the PlotAttributes area near the bottom of the indicator properties. Have not yet checked regarding report of performance issues on COBC false.

Ninjatrader 7 ONLY. Ninjatrader 6.5 does not support multicolor plotting. Another reason to take the leap.
