Hi guys, another indicator to meet your "fix" for today.
This is VIP only, please do not share or distribute.
This is a KISS mentality indicator (keep it simple, stupid). But I am now using it instead of TrendBars2 because it really does a fantastic job. You can turn off the paintbars if you just want a moving average line, but I am using it for paintbars.
It's a Triple EMA but it does not calculate like TEMA for Ninja. I am cramped for time so didn't Serialize the colors, so if you don't like my choice of candle colors you'll need to edit the indicator directly.
Enjoy. It's the paintbars in the top panel.
PS - The strategy trades shown are me testing a new CL theory
This video talks about trading the ZN on Thr July 9th 2009. It goes over several setups and reviews them bar by bar, starting with the large time frame, then looking at the smaller time frames for entries.
It also talks about some money management and trading rules I employ.

This video is about learning to trade the market for what it is. Indicators are not going to teach you this. The market is ever changing and indicators can only get you so far along in your journey.
At some point you need to just simply learn how to trade. Spend your time and energy wisely.

This video emphasizes the crucial importance of observing a larger time frame chart, even when scalping.
It shows an 11 range chart on the ZN 09-09 and even though we are only trading a 4 range chart, this clearly demonstrates why a bigger picture chart is a requirement.
This is a must watch video if you are not making money.

In this video blog I recap Friday's price action and talk about why, for me, it is so important to have multiple time frames/charts up. Friday was an extremely choppy day, yet we either made money or at least didn't lose any.

I'm using this on a 5 minute chart. I am not sure of its usefulness on anything smaller.
You'll need a semi-wide right margin to see the text, or you can edit the indicator itself if you want to adjust that. v-d1..v-d5 just represents how many days back the line represents, I have it set to do a 5-day rolling action now.
All the lines are drawn ahead of time and do not change intraday.
The indicator works a little different than websouth's implementation, because he was using the displacement chart feature which puts lines behind (historical) price. Within the indicator, I just painted the line using historical data, but it still plots real-time.
At any rate, it is a very interesting indicator. Sometimes it is a thing of beauty, others the visual aesthetics are not appealing but that usually means chop. If the indicator looks like shit then the price action is probably shit, too.
All colors are fully configurable, as is the shading, and opacity. You can also control the historical period rate.
Attached are a few screens plus the indicator. It's the top panel stuff.
This is identical to the above indicator posted very recently except for the optimization that makes it load and run much faster. Was edited in NT7 but should also work in NT6.5... delete the info.xml file from the installer before importing into 6.5
There is a compiler switch that will set calculate on bar close = false if using NT7.
Again thanks to Richard of MoveTheMarkets.com for his valuable posts on Ninjacator optimization.
April 4th, 2012 12:18 PM keymoo Great video Mike, I only have MAs, vol and some S/R levels on my charts (Yesterday's HLC, etc). I've been down the indic
ator route for a LONG time (too long), and they DO NOT WORK!
