I'm self taught and just starting to understand what's required to convert my NT7 indicators over to NT8 so let me know if this can be improved.

Symbol Range, Version 1 -
This indicator allows a pretty quickly analysis of any chart data to determine the $Dollar and Tick range each day during any intraday time period for whatever symbol you have charted.
It prints data to the Output Window in Ninja so be sure you have that open. You can save that data as a .csv file and then open in Excel if you want to analyze further. I purposely put commas between the labels and the data just so I could import to Excel. If you use a super fast chart (like a 1-tick) it will make your CPU crawl so be careful not to have too many days of data on your chart. For a 1-tick chart, less than 15 days isn't bad. For minute data, years is very quick.
"TickRangeEachBarSummed" for a 1-tick chart represents the total "travel" of every wiggle in price. This is of course dependent on your data provider and may vary depending on if they filter the data you are charting. "TickRangeEachBarSummed" for any other chart type is the addition of every bar's High minus its Low.

I have a couple issues with the back testing "Strategy Performance Summary"
1. Excessive information spread over heaps of screens. Even after exporting to Excel
2. There is no analysis of the Exits Strategies ie how many times the Initial Stop/StopLoss was hit, Breakeven hit, Trailing Stop etc
So to this end, I created a spreadsheet that loads in the information from a "Strategy Performance Summary" and produces a single page report with what I feel is the critical information.
The excel file is inside the attached zip file. It uses macro's, so you may get a security warning ? It was also created with Office 2010, so I'm not sure if it will work on early versions of Office or not.
To use it -
1. Run MC and export a Performace Summary report in XLS (Excel) format.
2. Open the "MC Import Template - Ver1.xlsm", accept any security warnings.
3. Click on the ""Import File (Ctrl R)" button.
4. Select the exported file from step 1.
5. You will see things jump around on the screen.
6. When the import has finished, it will ask do you want to save changes to the original file from step 1. Typically say NO.
7. It will now ask you to save the new condensed file. Say Yes.
That's it .
Here is a sample after the import -
This report works well with the below "NWT Exits".
It colors the region between two T3 moving averages. They are not Fulks-Matulich moving averages. I think it makes more sense to say that they are T3 moving averages calculated by a method developed by Fulks and Matulich.
I saw possibilities for improvement so took the liberty of revising it. This version will have a drastically lower usage of CPU cycles than the version that I found in the pot luck thread.

Hello Traders, a trader that downloaded the EMASlope indicator asked if the same slope color scheme could be added to the T3 indicator. The T3 is considered a swing indicator which is suitable for all timeframes and trading instruments including forex, stocks, commodities, cryptocurrencies, indices, etc. Presented in 1998 by Tim Tillson, it is also known as the Tillson Moving Average. It was developed to minimize false signals that are common with other MA's... Some traders trade PA above/below, and the more conservative will trade with the slope and PA above/below
Shown is the T3Slope with Period = 55, Tcount 7 and VFactor0.7 on a 144Tick YM Chart.
The slope color in this case, changes at +/-15 degrees and +-45 degrees. The colors can be selected to only change for upslope and downslope or for degress as shown. The background can be set to show slope dependent color and opacity. There is also a button to disable the indicator located on the Time axis. The button has the indicator name and Period on its face. Also there is a label in the right margin that colors with the indicator. All parameters are user selectable
Give it a spin and leave a comment...
Trade Well
