There is a school of thought that
today's price action is just a continuation of yesterday's.

...and that if you shift today's price bars so that today's opening price matches
with yesterday's close, you will see a continuation of yesterday's price action.

This indicator does just that:
it will shift today's price bars by the open/close difference.

Note: this chart is for price action reference only.
Please don't trade with this chart or you might get a very disappointing fill.
It is recommended that you cover up the price scale when you read this chart.

ShortyGetShort

Hey traders! Spent this arvo creating some EA's and indicators. Here's one I'd like to give to you for free!

The indicator is called ShortyGetShort version 1. It's for Metatrader 4.

The signal comes up as a red square. It's only good for shorting, though, so really keep this in mind if you do decide to use it. Bear in mind, not every single signal it produces will result in a good trade, so try combining it with other indicators like bollinger bands or RSI.

Personally, I like to combine it with the ichimoku cloud as a filter. It will (well, it should) also create an alert so you don't miss any signals. Try it on the major pairs and gold. 4H timeframe should be alright. Happy trading everyone! Enjoy!

Show Date on Chart v5

Description: Displays the date of each day of the chart in a user specified format, in a subpanel. The date format is completely under your control. You determine when the date displays. The dates scroll with the chart.

Enhancements
- Print date on the first bar of the day or at a time of your choosing.
- Set opacity of the date background color (0-10). 0 = invisible, 10 = solid.

Show Execution Markers (Toggle Button)

Different version of my indicator to reveal Executions simply and effectively.
Just move the mouse in and out of a 'hidden' button to show/hide your trade executions.
Keeps the screen nice and clean.
NB this will only reveal Text And Markers or DoNotPlot states. v4 Reveals all 3 states

Show Execution Markers (Toggle)

Uses the key command Ctrl + Insert to toggle the state of the Execution markers on a chart between the 3 states of
1 .DoNotPlot
2. MarkersOnly
3. TextAndMarkers

Very quick and easy.

The text box in the bottom right serves as a reminder of what state you are in ( you would be surprised how often this is useful!) and disappears after 10 seconds.

Do ensure that you don't have the same key combination used in the Hotkey Manager.
