Smitty Moving Average Channel

This indicator plots a Moving Average channel on your chart along with a background color channel and optional plot colors according to the slope of the moving averages.

The Moving Average selection includes these Ninjatrader system indicators:

DEMA,EMA,HMA,LinReg,SMA,TEMA,TMA,VWMA,WMA, and ZLEMA

It also includes the Smitty SMMA indicator so that you can select a Smoothed Moving Average.

Exponential Hull Moving Average (amaEHMA)

The Hull Moving Average (HMA) was developed by Alan Hull and is mainly used to identify the current market trend. The HMA is composed of three weighted moving averages (WMA).

The Exponential Hull Moving Average (EHMA) has those weighted moving averages replaced with exponential moving averages.

The Exponential Hull Moving Average exhibits an excellent balance between smoothing and lag (also see "Moving Averages for Financial Data Smoothing" by Aistys Raudys, Edmundas Malčius, and Vaidotas Lenčiauskas � Vilnius University, Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics)

NT8 Hull Moving Average Color Change

Hello All,

Like many others, in migrating over to NT 8 many indicators are not available yet. I use the HMA often and prefer when color changes if rising or falling.

EMA_HMA_SMA_WMA_Colors_V3_No_Repaint_Bars

Here are the EMA_HMA_SMA_WMA_Colors_V3_No_Repaint_Bars.

Enclosed in the zip file are the four indicators as shown in the picture.

The moving average for each indicator is compared to a slope that you specify.

Results are displayed with different colors, depending on the slope and market direction.

Indicator MA specified length and slope MA specified lengths are defined seperately to increase flexibility of utilization.

I did not create the original versions of these indicators.

I just made a few changes.
