Ninjatrader 7 Point and Figure Indicator Suite

Indicator: PnF

This is a set of Point and Figure Indicators that I developed with the anticipation of NT8 fixes of PnF. NOTE: These are coded for NT7 and will need tweaked for NT8.

I followed Jeremy du Plessis method for Point and Figure to the best of my ability. That said, there may be errors in the logic in some situations. Use at your own risk!!

Indicator List:

PnFCongestion - Heat-map of horizontal count showing congestion points.
PnFCount - Adds box counts above or bellow the XO bar.
PnFMaxMin - Shows breakout point, the price level the next XO will be drawn.
PnFXO - Simply tells you if you are in a X or O bar
PointAndFigureCandles - Draws real-time candles around the XO's
PnFTrend - Draws the 45 Degree trend lines
PnFPoles - Shows 50% retracement used for quick exits of long XO bar.
PnFHorizontalTarget - draws the Horizontal target for VU or W patterns
PnFVerticalTarget - draws the vertical target from important highs or lows

Added:
PnFSignalsV2 - Basic lines showing your standard PnF breakout
PnFDistribution - Know bugs on the counts, but its still shows a lot. Shows a session distribution of PnF Boxes.

Major enhancements on the Horizontal and Vertical targets. Mainly added dataseries for the nearest target and anchor points. Anchor points are the point that voids the targets if not met.

NinjaTraderDDE

NinjaTrader do not have Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) capability. This indicator helps one to build a DDE connection between NT and any client application like excel. NT acts as the server and sends the data.

.Net do not supports DDE natively but there is a very good free open source library namely NDDE, which i have used to make the dde link.

The indicator uses many "non-supported stuffs". So use/edit is judiciously.

simple virtual close price are coded which produces a new
virtual prices exactly similar in swings but without gaps.
its used where and on those indicator where i like to see continuity of indicator shapes/patterns on opening gaps. Logic behind this continuity is almost every indi is based on window/lookback period and believe me i strongly feel thier values do primarily depends on relative positioning of Input Prices rather then actual absolute value. So as long as relative positioning is without gap..indicator will show good usable continuity.
it should be used as long as calculation depends "only" on close prices.
One may find some time advantage of early entry by 2-3 bars but not to bother as i primarily used this for visual continuity.

NoGapRangeBars_NT65

This is a slightly modified version of NinjaTrader's Range Bars.

In NinjaTrader's Range Bars, the Open[0] of each bar equals Close[0].

In This version, the Open[0] of each bar equals Close[1] .

NinjaTrader's Range Bars set on a 4 tick range needs 5 ticks of movement to create a new bar.

This version set on a 4 tick range needs just 4 ticks of movement to create a new bar.

It closes the gaps in trending bars.

It also removes a 1 tick hash programmed into the chart when the market is moving sideways.

I think it makes for a cleaner chart.
