1 post man; no.

There is no need for this... the thread starter was already banned as you can see, it happened a long, long time ago.

If you have a problem with a post (where the user wasn't already banned) - do NOT engage with them, do NOT reply in the forum, instead use the Report Post feature which is to the right of every post (yellow icon).

This is again one of the guys who is not serious but

-> takes freely available indicators
-> renames them in order to hide the true origin
-> sells them to unsuspecting victims

Those who cannot make money by trading just have to use a different method to collect your money ....

But let me first show how they are doing it ....

SniperBidAsk

Compare to Derivative Oscillator by Constance Brown

What I regret here is that

- they have taken an oscillator from Constance Brown and do not give credit to her as the author
- they rename it to Sniper BidAsk (BidAsk is completely misleading, because the indicator uses neither bid nor ask, it is just a smoothed RSI)
- then sell the stuff for $$$

EminiTargeter

Compare to QQE (Quantitative Qualitative Estimation) translated from MetaTrader 4

Again this is not exactly what I expect from a vendor. Dissimulation and dishonesty is not beneficial to trading.

Conclusion

Taking existing indicators that have been developed by somebody else does not necessarily invalidate an approach to trading. Why not use successful concepts and apply them to trading?

But would you trust in somebody who sells you chicken as beef, even if the meat is fresh?

In this case you can get the chicken for free, do not pay for it!

Disclaimer: I have not purchased the indicators from eminisniper.com, but the screen shots have been posted by @Ironman9973 in the German section of this forum, where I have originally responded. Here is the link to the posts.

I feel this is true about 80% of trading stuff out there (materials, setups, indicators, systems...etc.). The majority of it is available for free, but you'll always find it re-packaged as the Holy Grail by someone.

You are never in the wrong place... but sometimes you are in the right place looking at things in the wrong way.

Busted!
I love it. We should try to start a thread called "Trade Secrets Revealed".

that is really unbelievable Harry. thanks for doing that analysis. What is it about trading that brings out the worst in people? just a characteristic of the type that gets into it (looking for any easy way to make a quick buck...)

Hi Fat Tails

Can you kindly direct me to the Derivative osc so I can try this - might be helpful to finding a reliable scalp strategy

Many thanks

Trader12, if you look up the book from Constance Brown, Technical Analysis for the Trading Professional....she uses the indicator not as a crossover of zero line but when set to 14.5.3.9 she looks for divergence and a slope directional change. By itself I do not recommend unless you are a good PA (price action) bar over bar reader. Best to use a 2 or 3x hihger time frame then use it to find and entry on a lower time frame that fits your $$ mgt. Also, concerning Constance brown, her book is 363 pages, and she will not fully explain how she trades with it, she leaves some info., she states this and you see it in her explaination while 150 pages into the book. It is more info on how to use the RSI differently.

BTW, how eminisniper uses it is not correct based on his zero line crossover, but he uses it correctly to help get into his sniper trade that use it as well as a 1-2-3 pattern bar reversal.

Indicators I believe are from Fattails....Thank You!

Hi tradermark
Many thanks for your kind help and also to Hunter - it is greatly appreciated.
I was going to try to replicate the eminisniper setup and see just how good it was - especially after Fat Tails had taken the time to work out the system.
thanks again
