Hello. I am new to the forum and I am seeking a mentor/trainer to learn how to effectively trade S&P Emini futures. I came across Jeff Kilian who advertises himself as Chief Market Strategist for VTC Traders. I see there is one thread for him, but little else. Has anyone had any experience with him? His mentorship is not cheap (at least for me - approx. $8k) and I can't afford to make a bad decision.
Any experience with this group would be hugely appreciated. Happy to be in the forum. Hope to learn much (and contribute where I can) from the site and it's members.

Trust me, you will more than likely regret spending the $8k. If he could make you a profitable trader for $8k, he would just run a prop firm or hedge fund, not help someone like you or me.

Pay particular note to traderjeff's failure to respond to tturner who works directly with Big Mike on FIO a lot (webinars management etc).
Edit: Elite membership is great but its a mountain of stuff and can be overwhelming. Mattz who runs Optimus Futures is a regular and respected poster on FIO. I found this resource for new clients recently which Mattz maintains https://www.optimusfutures.com/tradeblog/
He has a lot of good articles on different aspects of trading peppered through and from the few I have read, he gives an experienced view. I'd hazard that spending a few hours creating a mindmap of this blog would (I hope) be a decent primer on the lingo and concepts.
Then you would be primed to absorb more from Elite and "tell shit from shinola" as it were.

I know that the temptation of giving money away to someone who promises riches can be very strong. But after thinking about it with a cool head, I would ask myself, what's the likelihood that someone else (a stranger) is on a mission to make me rich?
