Hello Traders & Tradets,

I come across a lot of sites and/or vendors! And I'd your input on the following vendor Safety In the Markets.

https://safetyinthemarket.com.au/

The firm is lead by a Mr. David Bowden

The website relays the following "Since 1989 when David launched Safety in the Market he has been known as a leading authority on Gann trading."

With that being said I'm shocked I haven't found any info on him or the site here on BM. Which is typically always my first tool in research. Are there any experienced customers who could shed some light?

Thanks for your contributions!

Blessings...

I have done Trading Tactics course with SITM. It was ~10years ago when any knowledge you could acquire either through books or training courses. What appealed to me that once I paid the price I could repeat the course for free - which I have done a couple of times.
It gave me some good, solid background to trading. Instructors were good and well prepared, especially Aaron Lynch and Noel Campbell.
All the teaching is based on Gann principles.
They also offered some "apprenticeships" which I have not opted to do.
Today a lot of material can be found on the Internet or forums, like this one, and software is getting better and better, hence the popularity of the courses has diminished, compared to 10-20 years ago.

Cheers,

David Bowden is unwell from what I hear and won't be returning to trading so the business is run by someone else. I've done his courses and you really have to take what he says and practice it. For example he uses hand drawn charts and draws gann angles based on calendar days and trading days. He values the 1x1 1x2 angles the most and forecasts these angles many years in advance on the large timeframes. You can see the market respecting these angles that he's drawn from pivots 30 years ago etc. In the end the courses are quite basic but very powerful if you practice on charts. They can be applied to day trading but he mostly worked from the Daily charts upwards. You have to be able to read between the lines otherwise you will miss some of his best stuff and come away feeling empty handed. I should mention that his work is mainly for hardcore gann fans and researchers, those who prefer indicators and systems will be disappointed. I picked up his courses in used condition on eBay for a fraction of the price sold by SITM.
