Anyone have any comments on an Australian company called Trading Coders that offer programming services for things like NinjaTrader indicators? Any review, comment, experience with these guys appreciated.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Hi - I've used Trading Coders (James) on several occasions. He's very good, doesn't charge much and gets the job done. Also very reliable and unless he's unusually busy, gets a job done in a week or two.
I have used Trading Coders before and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. I highly recommend them. I worked with James. Their prices are fair and the quality of his work is excellent.
I had them do an indicator for me. Very easy to work with, quick responses, flexible, and willing to do a couple of tweaks without addl cost or hassle. I'll be back to them.
This is an older thread and I know James's name has been mentioned in newer threads, but I thought I would write on the “official” review page.
My current project is still ongoing, but James’s work so far has been exemplary. My spec sheet is fairly large and extremely complex (way too complex for my tiny brain), so we decided to work through it in tranches.
Prior to James, I tried 2 other coders for my project. I was thoroughly disappointed with their responses. After a couple of clarification emails back and forth, I heard nothing from them again. They are very well known coders (I won’t name them) but I didn’t even receive a courtesy “I am way too busy to deal with your project right now” email, which I thought was rude. Too busy to even write an "I'm too busy email" I expect.
And then I got James’s contact. He was prompt, his work is very professional and we have worked together through any issues. So much so that James spent tons of additional hours (pro bono) diagnosing an issue that was causing me a headache, which by the way was down to how the incoming data was handled by NinjaTrader, not his coding.
He is very busy but he tells you when your job is scheduled to start which is usually a couple of weeks out after receipt of payment. He appears to be very ethical and trustworthy.
He comes highly recommended from me.
