Hello,

I think you need to go to the main settings > Volume Profile Display > Profiles use buy/sell colors.

Yes...you are correct! Thank you! I got it and it looks much betting.

Very helpful.

Mhamrin, I agree with emun in that you should play with the color settings to get a better idea of how everything works. However while I can't be certain from your description I believe you are talking about momentum delta. If that is the case go to the Bars icon (the middle of the three icons in upper left corner) and click on it. Then click on wide display and then finally text and momentum delta.
Hope it's what your looking for and best of luck,

Joe

Don't think so. when I pulled that up that seems to be the default. \\emmu was correct. Attached is what I was looking for.

What I liked about AD if I recall correctly as I am only using nt8 now.
Was you could compress the prior history to show candles with poc, yet have a certain amount of footprint on the same chart. Other footprint packages you cannot do that. You can show candles, with various things like poc, but not have half candles and half footprint
Doing some things in today's market made me realize that I liked that function a lot.

Waiting for the nt8 vers

This has been a great, informative thread! Thanks all.

I took AD for a trial spin, and it has certainly lived up to it's hype in all ways. After reading all 24 pages of posts, I understand what I'm getting into in trying to purchase AD.

Nonetheless, I cannot. the PayPal link no longer works on the Buy page. Good news though, I did send an email...

Cheers,

Scotty

If we're lucky, this means they're really close to releasing the NT8 version.

Is the inactive buy button because they are getting close to releasing NT8 or are they banned by Paypal?

Just received this update from Steve:

Hello valued user:

This is a note about our status. In what has seemed like our demise, we still do have a heart beating here. We've been put on hold; but it's only because we've had to put everything we have into development. We can't apologize enough if we've left confusion.

We set out for the next release; and while it might have seemed like we disappeared, we just wound up at the workbench, with the door closed, and the time lock shut on us while we were working! The next version of our engine began as an "upgrade", but turned into a complete rewrite. And now, a brand new interface has been solidified, and we had many many things on the shelf that have now been worked in --- and those are not just "features" but technologies and machinery --- there is now really a "new thing in the world"!

We've been working in a place that is strange to us ... this isn't where we call home. And as it turned out, we've had some truly jaw-dropping interference here! From an undescribably rude greater environment to deliberate impediments! Why are we here? Well that's a "long story", and we had the choice of sicking it out to get work done or uprooting once again; and we chose to stick it out, and that just threw a wrench into the timeframe (a really, really big wrench)!

We never did stop working at the true goal: a brand new way of working with the paper; and we HAVE Frankenstein alive! Everything you have seen is now turned on its side; and we really mean we've assembled the framework and infrastructure that we set out on: modernized, fully-loaded technology. We have the new framework running, and we have an all-new way of consuming the data. We'll be back soon!

Safe trading,
Steven Coco - Founder

I know its hard, but do be patient and you will get a reply. Steve just sent out a major email update that indicates new even more powerful interface is about here for us. I believe it will be worth the tortuous wait.

I am convinced Steve is a trader. A trader who has a massive understanding of the market auction process. He is developing software for himself. It is what he wants to use to be in the middle of the floor full of traders, so to speak. He is doing it in such a way that he is letting us all in on his project for a little of nothing. His primary motivation seems to be his own drive to trade in such a way as the AD software provides. For that reason, after stepping back, taking a look at the big picture, I have become confident that this software is not going away. It will continue to be developed and improved by Steve for himself, and us as we ride along on his journey to perfect his method. The man is a very gifted programmer with persevering focus. NT8 requires just that. Lots of new ways to do things old and new. Just look at how slow many have been to bring out NT8 upgrades. It is a massive undertaking for even simple things. Let alone something like AD.

I've found every time I thought Steve had forgotten my email, an answer came. Same with software purchases and activation on computers. Send your emails, encourage him, and bide your time. Good things come to those who wait. And count this as an exercise in developing perseverance and patience. Who among us couldn't benefit from more of both???

Chuck T
