... that you're looking for a trading arcade that will clear your stock trades? The problem is that the APIs that NT works with are mostly written for futures markets, with exception of a few, e.g. IB TWS. This leaves very few trading arcades that will offer NT.
P.S.: I always make it a point to clarify that 'prop shop' =/= 'trading arcade'. And also, there are prop shops and trading arcades that will clear your trades in futures markets, so there's no distinction between participation in equities and futures by mention of 'prop shop'. Most legitimate prop shops do not use external software in their OMS/EMS stack.
Xiaosi-I'm looking for prop shops that I can trade equities using NY
Art- you answered my question. You know that's super unfortunate... I suppose I would have to convert all my systems to .. Yet another softwares language
How much capital would it take to open a Prop Trading Firm? Aside from any regulatory costs which may be country specific...
So you'd need some office furniture and hardware - 100k
A rental contract - 50k
Recruitment - 20K
A few months worth of expenses - 20k
Trading capital - 100k per trader
Obviously a business plan would be needed but i am interested in any thoughts here from those with experience or ideas?
