Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

- Topic: Looking for an existing indicator, or how-to use an indicator -> Subforum: (the platform)
- Topic: Programmer needing help with non-Elite indicator -> Subforum: (the platform) - Programming

- Topic: Vendors (trading rooms, commercial indicators) -> Subforum: Vendors/Product Reviews

Last, any Elite Member may create more or less any of these topics in The Elite Circle at your own discretion (your support is appreciated).

This is just a short general list and doesn't cover everything. If you are unsure where to create your new thread, just create it in Traders Hideout and a moderator will move it if necessary.

Mike

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.
6)

Futures Edge on FIO

Which products do you trade?

Methodology is based on candlesticks only. Pure price action. I believe it works, just very difficult to learn it(for me anyway). Imho, owner is honest and a real trader.

Mark , aka--'NihabaAshi' uses WRB (wide range body) analysis.

His website has always been a bit weird (for at least 5+ years). When I write weird, I mean that he is very anal retentive (which can be a good thing).

He really values contributions from posters and encourages alot of discussion.

He has changed primary daytrading instruments a few times in his career; from ES to TF now.

I always had a real good feeling about his educational material; just never purchased anything.

His stuff is modestly priced and if someone wants to explore techniques without any indicators, this is certainly an option.

He has been active on ET for many years. I believe his materials are suited for daytrading mostly.

He does have (I think) some bonus programs or something like that if you meet his requirements to post certain types of questions in his forum, etc...

Very proactive. Also, he still uses those old IRC chat room(s).

But hey, whatever floats your boat. Certainly gives a decent amount of information (way more than many sites) before you have to plunk down some money for one of his 1st tutorial/trading methods.

It is subjective but has a rule-based foundation.

peace

Babypowder Did You Join?

Hi BabyPowder,

Did you ever try thestrategylabs services! I found the site during a late night night search a while back and have always been interested. I probably will be signing up soon. Any thoughts?

Also, I'm not sure if your aware but his name is listed as M.A. Perry. By chance would this be the same Perry whose won the Big Mikes' Gold Award for Best Method in 2011?

Thank you for your time!

And a special thanks to whomever contributes to this thread...

Blessings!

It is my understanding that his material is not just suited for daytrading.
