Yep, so did we. My wife must have been trading fixed income futures way back then, but the mail came in under our old company name. Do you know what sort of proof of claim they may be looking for?

No idea about proof. I am guessing broker statements are all that is required. I was with TradeStation at the time so it might be challenging to get those statements from them.

The settlement is for $15.7 million and covers an 8 year period?

Wow I bet I could get 3, maybe 4 tenths of a cent outta that. That'll teach 'em.

@Schnook I was thinking the same thing. 8 years, approximately 2000 trading days. Total traded volume in that period is in the Billions of contracts. I bet the settlement BEFORE legal fees (which will probably take a decent chunk) is a fraction of a cent per contract. You'll have needed to trade 100s of contracts just to get a $1. Now if you trade 100s of contracts per day for the 8 years.... you might get a couple of grand.

I might submit ours just for a laugh. I still have an uncashed refund check from Sears for $.02 they sent me for an over-payment a couple decades ago.
