So I am new to trading bonds so i'm sure there is something obvious i am missing here. But last night i went short US bonds (ZB Dec Contract) at 170 17/32 with a stoploss at 171 3/32

This morning when i wake up i see my stop is hit.. and while updating my journal i noticed the chart is really strange..

Based on the data from my broker (IB) bonds didn't hit 171 3/32. ...So i check the exchange

a high of 171'07 ... unless my math is wrong 171 3/32 = 171.09

what am i missing here?

The High in ZB was 171 7/32, so your stop of 171 3/32 (it being a lower price) was hit.

Also your chart is only showing RTH (prob 8:30 start time CST?), unlike Stocks there is no close day to day and Futures trade 24hr. 171 7/32 was traded this morning at 7:30 CST

the quote expressed as 171'07 implies 171'07/32 (they just dont put the /32 there)

The high of 171'07 can be written as 171-7/32. This is equivalent to 171.21875. This high exceeds your stop loss of 171-3/32.
