Could be this issue from the Tradovate Forum?

Correct. We did see and resolve an issue with extensions in TPO Charts. The fix is in our beta version right now, it will be moved to production (web) this weekend and (desktop) the following weekend.

Look for version number ending in 0326

hello,

I have a couple of question

1) In a Live account a user can login with 2 different PC at the same time, with the same credentials? (in this case from the same IP address)

2) Are OCO orders server side?

3) High intraday margins for the EUREX markets can be lowered at least to 25% of the initial margin?

4) Please add an indicator that shows on the right margin of the chart the P&L of the current trade. I don't use the DOM anymore, but I scalp a lot only with chart trading. And this is feature has a great value for most traders. It is a standard. All trading software have this feature now

Hi,
Following on from the point above. I was looking at the delayed data on your platform for FTSE on ICE Europe during the European session over the past couple of days. It is much less volatile than the NQ yet the US equities have $550 day margins and the FTSE margin is £3,593 or approximately $5,000.
Looking at Ninjatrader their day margin for the FTSE is $1,000 so it is not being fixed that high by the exchange. Will your margin be reducing at all as pandemic volatility in the markets has decreased over the previous months (not suggesting $500, but less than $5,000 would be better)?

You do not win as a trader, you just get to play again the next day. If that game doesn’t appeal to you then you should not trade. Gary Norden

No Kagi charts, that I have seen.

There is a sim account and you can get 14 days live data and from there you can use delayed data but only minute based charts.

Whoa!

Is this like a cloud-based Ninjatrader based on one of my favorite languages, javascript and not NT ugly C#.

The first impression, this is cool!

1st - Are you an FTC for use hedge fund guys? Or just personal accounts?
2nd - Do you offer Point and Figure?
3rd- a follow-up to the 2nd, can you do percentage box sizes in point and figure, or can I build custom charts with a log scale (not an indicator).

You need NEED to allow us to chart spreads.. If I can't type in two contracts and see a spread, then it's a deal killer for our hedge fund business.

Cheers,
Sody

Yes, I am quoting myself.. I answered the questions about myself and even scheduled a call with Tradovate. I have to admit playing with their system, they have promise. Not at the level where I drop CQG and Ninjatrader, but I am enjoying the platform so far.

I did find a useful tip, there is an add-on for Tradeview that allows me to trade from Tradeview to Tradovate. Why is this important? Because you can chart spreads in Tradeview, trade from there, and even have the spread tool on Tradovate. Look, CQG is expensive, the commissions I pay at my FTC/CTA are expensive. Tradovate + Tradeview is a relatively cheap web-based and desktop-based way of trading spread without the need for CQG's platform. I will give you a shot and test the platform out.

Things you lack automated trading strategies. The code looks like you can use the js for indicators only. I would like to be able to create my own charts, for example. On your Point and Figure chart, you allow for normal boxsize. I would like a percent boxsize on a log-based PnF. Or give us the users the ability to make our own. Or the API so I can make a web socket and build our charts in Python or R (what I am doing now since no platform understands Point-and-Figure correctly).

Keep up the good work, I am excited for the possibilities.

Sody

Does Tradovate adjust exchange fees down for those who lease CBOT seats? I can’t find any info on that on your site.
