Im using stop limit orders. The problem is I will place an OCO order ...price passes right through it and doesn't fill, I've seen it fill on the way back. Example place a sell stop at 101.1 current price is at 105.3, price passes through my order price and doesn't fill reaches my intended target of 20 ticks or so then come back up through my order and fills taking me the wrong way.
With the all the volitility in CL, you may want to consider a Stop order, or setting your limit order farther out , or setting the stop price farther from the limit amount.
I know that sounds like it's defeating the purpose of using a stop limit order, but that is the reality of the market to get get filled.
Best of Luck.

Hi there,
I have a similar question. I'm actually looking for a hokey I can set up through a script for a buy stop market order at the current running price or one tick above. Also, one for a sell stop market order at the current running price or one tick below. I've asked several people but have been unsuccessful. I'm using Ninjatrader as my platform. Any help would be much appreciated.
