Wonder if anyone here has noticed the same thing that happens to my Ninja Platform 6.5, don't know about ninja 7 as haven't used it yet but in the Control Centre under Accounts where it shows the Realized Profit/Loss that many things it is incorrect after a trade or even opening or closing balances for the day. I have over 50 saved screened shots that proves that. After consulting with Ninja and them not being able to help and they have seen my saved screens, they said that diffirent data feeds might not support that field and have left it to me to find out whether that is my case or not. I have run into a brick wall as feel it is not up to us to have this working correctly and maybe there is a simple solution to this. Anyone here have you had the same problem. I daytrade and place alot of trades quickly so can't keep up to manually keep track if the totals the control center shows is correct. Any suggestions? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I would rather sooner than later switch to NinjaTrader 7. It is ways superior and shows higher stability. I can no more comment on NT 6.5, as I have banned it from my PC.
Does anyone have experience and feedback with NT 7.0 correctly tracking trade performance? Since upgrading, I haven't looked into this area of functionality and based on prior versions of the product, had become dependent on tracking P&L outside of the NT. Would be nice to actually use the platform for that tracking.
Simple, I am glad to hear that someone else is having the same problem (not worded correctly) meaning that somehow I felt that I was doing something wrong, but in the last 2 weeks, I have found that the trade tracking on Ninja 7 with the P & L is I hate to say terrible. In connecting with ninja support, I finally was told that each data live provider supports only certain parts of the ninja platform (was a surprise to me) and that I need to find out which parts the live provider supports. I don't understand exactly what it is that I need to find out, I use Rethmic so if anyone out there knows a provider where they don't have this problem, I would love to know. Thanks
Big Mike, in response to whether I have a link where they say that it is the data providers responsibility for providing updated correct info on the control center sections, I have to go through about 50 past emails and many I don't have but interesting enough, just finished a webinar today at 3:30pm MT with ninja with one of their partners and questioned them about this and sure enough, right there on the webinar Ryan stated that it is the data providers responsibility to provide the updated and correct information. So who out there actually does provide that, don't know and am not about to be trying new ones out if don't know if they are the same. To many promises are made out to people but to little results and then we are told after the fact, that these kinds of things happen and it is up to us to find out how we are to correct them. There must be someone out there who does provide the data correctly and would like to know who that may be.
Here is a link that details what account values are supported by each provider. Based on your trouble in finding this information, I will include this information on each one of our Connection Guides for each technology provider we support.
