Is there any posibility to put daily chart on smaller time frame to get a result as in section B:
a) eurusd 30min + eurusd 1440m BOX (normal configuraction)

b) desired effect:

I would like to see the shadows of the candles on the selected interval, to see where the price was but failed to keep. The width of the candles, which are imposed is proportional to the number of candles on a smaller interval.

For example, the MetaTrader 4 has indicator Custom Candle:

In Ninja Trader the BOX effect is only: HIGH + LOW.
Is it possible to achieve BOX: HIGH + LOW + OPEN + CLOSE/actual price ?

Regards,
inmax.

what you want is Richard's virtual bar, just specify how many bars you want to group together.

Interesting, I was not aware of this indicator.

The MultiPeriodCandle indicator creates those candles as well.

In these indicators there is no difference in the chart minute. The difference is only in the charts Tick, Vol, Range ...
It all depends what effect you want.
Depends on whether indicator has group number of bars, or time in which the candle is formed.
Both effects may be helpful.
Thanks!

Yes, there is a difference by design, as you noticed.

The Virtual Bar indicator is time-based, the MultiPeriodCandle indicator just takes n candles and merges them into one larger candle.

So it is up to you to decide what fits your needs.
