I used eSignal a couple years ago with NinjaTrader and it was OK, but I quickly dumped it in favor of Zen Fire. If you aren't running their charting program, I would not use their data personally. IQFeed data is far superior and the same cost more or less (maybe even cheaper).

Hi BM, thanks a lot. I think about using Tradeguider for trading stocks, and for this i would have to subscribe with esignal. If you say that esignal data feed is ok I will use it :-)

Well "ok" is subjective. It was ok for me, up until I found something better, which was Zen Fire and then IQfeed. So I would never use eSignal again today. If you look at the data feed comparison thread, you'll see it's not a very good data feed for bid ask cum delta, so it just depends on what you are doing.

Thank you, Mike. I don`t do any analyses with the data feed, i just trade what I see supported by some indicators, also for the Delta. I suppose that eSignal data feed is correct for trading futures. I am watching a guy trading the same indicators as I do in real time, but he gets special coloured delta bars with the Zen Fire feed while I dont get it with Kinetick. Thats valid for CL, on the FDAX we see the same.
Apart from this I am sure that I sometimes see traded prices in the DOM which I dont see on his screen, considered that there is a delay between his and my screen as he is located in the US while I live in Germany.
So possibly it is hard to find out the "final truth" about the data feed, as you say, it may depend on what someone does with it .. Many thanks again!
