Allright, you look at screens all day.

Do you have a dog ? Which one ? Are you planning on getting one ?

I believe a retail home trader will make a dog happy because he's there all the time..

I find myself considering a dog when I see a photo like this,
but quickly change it when I see their owners picking up the big dumps every morning in the park.

Had a black and tan longhair for 14 years, looked like Dexter. Now have 2 chocolate dapple longhairs.
They don't seem to help my trading but they are a lot of company.

Dexter is a great little dog. My girls wanted a lab and we definitely have the yard and house for it, but my wife said no because of the shedding. I would definitely get another long hair dapple dachshund.

Thank you Mike.

Max was 5 1/2 weeks old in that pic. He's a border collie and is almost 7 months old now. He has lots of energy, is scary-smart, and is always ready to learn/play.

It's true that a dog requires a little bit of effort, but the love and unfettered devotion they return more than makes up for it. I need only look at Max and he starts wagging his tail.

There are many breeds of dogs. In general, dogs are bred to do certain tasks.
If everything/everybody else can be taken care of with the time a trader has in
a given day, it is important to choose the correct dog for a pet. Some are bred
to run and chase sheep. If there are no sheep they will chase anything. Other
dog breeds are just the opposite. I like dogs myself, but they require time. They
are all social beings that require love. Love takes time.

“Sometimes I wonder if there’s enough love to go around with all the pain and longing. But one thing is for sure: If anyone has any extra love, even a heartbeat, or a touch or two, I wish they wouldn’t waste it on dogs.”

Excerpt from "Extra Love"
