I've working with Rithmic + Ninjatrader so I want work with the same connection to MultiCharts. I have permission of my FCM . I read that Ninjatrader doesn't work with the same connection to another platform.
Are there someone that have some experience about this?
Thanks
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Yes, with MC I don’t have any problems, I think the problem is with NT so if I’m connected with NT when I try connecting with MC, NT disconnect at the moment.
I don't think this is a Ninja thing. I don't think Rithmic allows two connections and it is Rithmic that terminate the connection when you make a new one.
As the other trader said, this is not a NT problem. You have to know that you have 1 connection with your data but Rithmic has a solution to solve this and this is called "plug-in mode".
I already asked if MC has "plug-in mode" but with your answer I'm not sure if it has. The solution (if MC has "plug-in mode"): dowload R-Trader Pro and check "plug-in mode", thereafter check "plug-in mode" in all other connections (NT and MC) and connect it and it should work. Keep in mind, you always have to open R-Trader Pro first (and never close it)
