I don't personally have an IB account, but this is what I've followed to help others in the past.
It's more involved, but consider working through the full "IB Trader’s Workstation (TWS)" option.
The start of that section is not highlighted very well at all - scroll down about 1/3 of the page, just after step 7. of the first section and look for "Initial Setup Instructions for Connecting with IB Trader’s Workstation (TWS)" to begin.
Thanks a lot for this thread! Do you have any experience with how fast the connection/trading using Interactive Brokers' account through NinjaTrader? I've heard that execution/datafeed might be slower if you connect to Interactive Brokers.
Also, a much more basic question: what do you think Ninja or Interactive Brokers has more reliable background? I've read that Interactive has longer history with significant revenue, but read also a lot of problems (e.g. poor customer support).
If Ninja could be as much trusted as Interactive, I might to use their platform directly and not through a Interactive Brokers connection .
