Graybox Trading - Stay Far Away

Attended an Online Trader Central presentation hosted by Tim Laing of Grayboxtrading.com. He admitted to trading all of 2 years but said so to make a point that if he could make all this money trading the gray box model then anyone can. He made some outlandish claims that he makes money pretty much every day and I believe he said he makes at least $150 per trade. What turned me off immediately was that after his two minute overview of the system he went into "all" you get and the "value" of each item and he assigned a $10,000 "value" for a one hour conversation with the genius trader who developed the system. I put a comment into the chat that he lost me when he assigned a $10k value to speaking to the developer. I then immediately asked if there was a free trial. Within a couple of minutes the host booted me out of the webinar. Please be VERY leery about dealing with charlatans like this. Stay far away!!!

Thanks for this. Has anyone had hands on experience using this �triangulation� system? Is this the same as harmonics? Would be good to hear from anyone that is using or has used this.

Hey fellas I just saw this post and I have used the grey box trading "triangulation" product when I first started trading futures. I purchased the monthly lease which I believe was $349 at the time. I used this product I believe when he just came out with it around Feb 23 and continued to use it for 5 months or so. I had some luck with the product and passed 2 50k evals with Apex out of trying 3 times. I found the product to work really well but since the product does most the work for you I wasnt actually learning to trade while using it. I was making some money yeah but learning absolutely nothing. As a newer futures trader I was looking for something that I could learn as well as possibly not get killed at the same time. Also there were a few negatives about the system like if volitility picked up while in a trade, the system is supposed to get you out but sitting through a big drawdown for a newer trader was horrific for me and it happened to me three times and once I couldnt handle it and I closed out the trade losing around $3k in a CL trade. So at the end of the day I moved on to price action trading, to learn the basics but the developer of the product seemed to be very fair with me and always answered any questions I had so I have nothing bad to say about triangulation and Grey Box Trading. Hope this helps anyone looking into Grey Box Trading
