Can anyone explain to me trading view? Have accounts with Ninja, TOS, and Forex .com, but most of the videos use trading view almost exclusively. It does seem that they have a huge custom indicators library, that many don't have but you can't trade directly on platform? I tried to get familiar but wasn't getting much. I guess you have to pay a monthly fee?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
This is a huge question, and I hope you will receive some replies that will be of help.
One thing I suggest is to just spend some time at Trading View, reading its Help files, which I recall are extensive, and seeing how it is being used by its users.
I hope someone here will see this and will give you a hand, so you can start to understand this platform.
Bob.

Hi, if I understand you question correctly: you have an account with Ninja but online you see thousands of videos of people using trading view, you can't understand why and you can't understand how to connect trading view with the broker.
I cannot answer all this questions but I will give you some hints, that will at least partially help you:
1) many people use TradingView just for charting and analyzing the market and then they implements their trades on other platforms
2) Ninja is also widely used so if you have an account with them, I don't see any need to switch to trading view unless you really want to for whatever reason
3) many youtubers trade prop firms capital, thus they implement on metatrader and they chart on trading view
Concerning prices: tradingview prices depend on your needs, if you don't need complicated layout you can pay as little as 20 USD per month. Also it depends on how many markets you want to have realtime data for.
Generally speaking CFD datafeeds are free and future datafeed are not. Each market is different and has different prices.
Concerning connections: it depens on your broker. You can search in tradingview how to connect to most brokers, otherwise the broker itself will give you instructions on how to do that.
I use Tradingview with a Pro Plan (there are a couple of Pro levels with additional functionality) and I trade Futures. Tradingview has big discounts around the holidays, so perhaps wait for that. I paid $108. in Nov of 2022 and my subscription expires in February of 2024. Good deal, IMHO. Right now, they have 14 supported brokers, Ninja is not one of them, however, Tradovate is and is owned by Ninja Trader. I use AMP as my broker and they integrate nicely with Tradingview. CQQ is my data feed. Hope this helps.
