I have found in my archive this indicator that shows Supports and Resistances, but when inserted, it pushes up the chart;
if it was possible to get the chart in full screen.
As I understand I cannot share indicators and other tools when I am not an Elite Member. Otherwise I would have shared them here.
I am NOT a vendor, just a trader who has shared an indicator I wrote for myself with other traders for the last several years. As I wrote I never charged a dime for it.
I answered the OP's question with more insight and more specifics about support/resistance and supply/demand than anybody else. I think they might have benefited from my post if you had left it in place and simply edited what you disliked.
I was a mod at a large forum for many years and share your concern about spam on forums. But you always have to consider whether you are looking for an excuse to take mod action or whether you are actually solving a problem. Hey, sort of like trading: Some traders look for reasons to disqualify a setup, others look for reasons (excuses) to take it
Update to OP: I know an indicator which might be what you are looking for. It is free, but I am not allowed tell you about it.
I have indeed mentored traders and provided analysis for some funds. Some was paid for, most was not. My last mentoring client was last year. It's something I do on the side.
That doesn't change the fact that I am NOT a vendor, I am just a trader. The posts I made here (only a few) are all in that capacity.
Of course I am unable to discuss with other members how I trade without sharing aspects of how I trade, which is exactly what I have done in my posts. That's what you call self-promotion, because you assume I am selling something. But I don't HAVE anything to sell here.
If you REALLY did your job as mod, you would have actually READ my posts when you performed your sleuthing and noticed that's what I did: Share how I trade, nothing else. But once you had decided to label me a vendor, you couldn't snap out of it and just looked for any words to prove your case.
Listen, arguing with mods is never a good way to gain popularity on forums. You are wrong on the facts about me, but I know how it works, again having been in your shoes for many years -- on a much larger forum, often with hundreds of genuine attempts every day to evade our anti-promotion rules. So yes, I know, including that mods can sometimes be wrong.
Feel free to delete my account if you want. In fact, if you insist on labelling me as Vendor, I would ask you to. I joined here last year hoping to engage with other traders, particularly experienced traders who might not be on TradeStation's own forum. But I found very little traction in the few discussions where I engaged, even when I've shared code example and detailed answers. So I don't spend much time here anyway, since I am clearly not in tune with the place.
Have a good weekend now. Over & out.
Oh, last thing: For the sake of this thread's OP, I would recommend you restore my reply to them, as it includes clarification of the difference between support/resistance (LEVELS) and supply/demand (ZONES) which should NOT be confused, being rather different things. You can edit out anything about me if you like.
Dannemand: "As I understand I cannot share indicators and other tools when I am not an Elite Member. Otherwise I would have shared them here."
I would just like to confirm that all Forum members, can share indicators, trading systems and other material for free, in fact I have shared several indicators, T.S, codes and other material and I am not an Elite member (in post #2 , I shared an indicator). Have a nice day.
When I wanted to share stuff last year, the system clearly told me I had to be an Elite member to do so. Maybe I did something wrong or maybe the rules changed. I have a collection of tools I am very proud of, so I may give it another try someday, depending on what happens with my account.
But one thing I won't do is pay for the privilege of sharing and helping other traders.
I got into trading in 2008-09, not because I wanted, but because I had to: I lost my job at an overseas company and with that also my US work visa. For several years I could still live here (thanks to my wife) but I couldn't work. Trading was my only means of income, and I had to learn fast.
It turned out I was good at it -- somewhat to my surprise, since gambling is NOT part of my DNA. I am quite risk averse, but a good analyst. Consequently, I trade for the income, NOT because I particularly enjoy trading.
What I DO enjoy, is helping other traders, on which I've spend hundreds, if not thousands of hours over the years. Most of them retail traders, but also a few professional (who paid me).
So working with other traders is a passion of mine. But even if I don't charge for it, I won't pay for it either. And I am not inclined to endure too much abuse about it either.
Alright, that was probably too much information. Thanks again.
