Hello !

I day-trade in NT8 Chart trader, data Rithmic Pro, sim funding evaluation, 4 accounts.
My average TiT 30-60 mins, but sometimes I hold trades/runners for several hours.
I am going to copy/duplicate trades between my accounts.

What is the best way to do it?
1. using Rithmic DOM and brackets. I have never traded on DOM before, no experience.
2. using trade copier/duplicator for NT8. Which one would you advise?

Thank you!

using FlowBots Replikanto with reasonable success .. some say APEX's trade copier is a specialized version of Replikanto ..

there is a delay in duplicated trades as Replikanto cycles through the list of accounts .. I've seen a 0.1-second delay .. so just know it is possible that not all trades will be filled the same ..

to me the advantage of Replikanto vs APEX's copier is Replikanto goes with me if I change funding sources ..

Replikanto is a pretty good one, full featured and not very expensive. Also, if you're with APEX there is a trade copier they can sell you for $150 lifetime. My understanding is APEX white labeled the Replikanto copier. I use it and it works well.

I left APEX for a bit and was able to use their copier with another firm with no problems.

There’s a third option… NT 8 Replicator by Speedy Trading. I used this and it works really well. Not sure if i’m allowed to post a link to their website but i believe it was created by a FIO mod.

not sure if the other methods being discussed can do this ..

besides placing trades on multiple accounts on a single computer .. Replikanto can place trades on a second computer by accessing the second computer and a second instance of NinjaTrader/Replikanto via a network connection .. which means Replikanto can place trades with a second broker and/or account

and of course .. the second computer does not have to be a second physical computer .. a second computer could be a virtual machine set up on the same/main computer

I am working through the details but plan to use this method to trade accounts in a trust's name set up for my kids ..

do an internet search .. CAN10 is a code that is supposed to get a 10% discount .. there may be other codes with larger discounts ..

The NT 8 Replicator has a network version that can replicate over the network. I’m sure there’s more delay on any network replication versus local. Never had the need to replicate over the network so i can’t speak from experience.

Yes, you basically have to add the network latency between the Master and the Slave. If there's both on the same local network the latency is minimal. It's even better when the machines are all on our VPS hosted on the same physical server sharing the same private virtual network (as all the packets are then managed internally, no physical cables/switches involved).
The latency is significantly higher with other products as there are using a "man on the middle" server, which is receiving the orders from the main instance to then send them back to the clients. Beside the confidentiality concerns, the high latency it implies is a big problem, as the risk of having positions not synchronized is much higher. And having positions not in sync is the last thing you want, this can quickly become a real mess...
