Hi,

What is the Dollar Trading Volume of EUR/USD and other currencies per day?

I have tried to research it myself but only found vague answers.

Even GPT 4 couldn't provide answers, except that Dollar Trading Volume of the entire forex market is 6.6 trillion dollars per day. But what is for EUR/USD and other currency pairs specifically?

It'll be much appreciated if somebody could share that info.

Many thanks,
Patrick

Have you tried BabyPips.com? There's a lot of FOREX info there. Hope that helps.

You can start by taking a look at the Bank of International Settlements: https://www.bis.org/statistics/rpfx22_fx.htm

With spot forex being an over-the-counter, decentralized and minimally regulated market, the data is always going to be an estimate. You can find the daily trading volume for forex futures trading at the CME (https://www.cmegroup.com/market-data/delayed-quotes/fx.html) but that only represents a very small amount, relative to the cash over-the-counter market.

I hope you aren't looking for that number to help your trading.
