Im curious if anyone trades on the HKEX using sierra charts, and how they get their data and what broker they use?
Im currently with AMP using CQG datafeed, but i only ever get 2 days of historical intraday data. I've been working with SC for a few days to get this solved, but obviously replies are few and far between and they hate CQG which is fair enough.
Just curious to what other options I could explore for broker/datafeed solutions
Cheers,
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I had verified above information, When I use Multicharts or AMP Quantower, I get full 30 day of tick data on current contracts, however SC only request and download 5 days, you can try yourself.
If you want to keep using SC, then you shouldn't trade the market outside CME or EUREX, since Denali don't support HKex data.
So if you want to continue to trade HKex, the only solution for you is to stop using SC unless they change their data policy.
Yeah its absolutely sucks. But for me HKFE is what I mostly trade and I as you know SC is my main platform. I get around the problem by always having SC chart running on a server. That way I'm always collecting data (as well as running my systems)
