Most cost effective would likely be to open a free brokerage account with TD Ameritrade and deposit like $50 to keep the account open, but don't trade with it. I believe the free account comes with live market data for QQQ, and then use can just connect your TD account as a connection in NinjaTrader.
Interactive brokers would likely be the next option, but I don't believe IBKR offers free live data for QQQ, there's a small monthly live data fee.
As planetkill suggested, I've begun the process to get a TD Ameritrade account. The NT data source chart Lancer shared also helped put things in perspective. Thank you both for the helpful information.
I am now looking to get US 10 Year Government Bond Yields on my Ninja Trader 8 charts. It is an instrument on the TVC exchange. Does anyone know how I can get a data feed to get them on my charts? I checked the paper money version of ThinkorSwim but could not find it listed as an instrument there.
