I would like to know what features you miss in other Footprint indicators, or if there are any special requests that could be used in addition to the standard features. So if you miss features in your Footprint that you would like to have, post them here or send me a private message, I appreciate all suggestions and ideas.
If you have any questions about our services at Sidi Trading indicators and more, please send me a private message.
I already use Footprint software that is too complete. I don't even use a third of the features available.
He has gotten a bad rep from his lackluster customer service but the software is legit.
What makes it better, is that everything is graphically displayed. All Footprint charts have the data there but I have
to calculate different aspects manually in other Footprint packages.
I'm referring to Mike Valtos and his Order Flow Trader software.
Like him and what he does or hate him, I don't care but his product is useful.
His software with excellent customer service is a winning combo.
If you want to see what features your product should have, check out his OFT 5.0 or don't.
You asked the question, I'm giving you an answer.
I can reasonably guess that why you aren't getting ANY responses is because 99% of people have no idea of how to use
the information in a Footprint. Stacked Imbalances are pretty much it, right? All Footprints have that, so why ask you for it?
Unfinished Business is a joke for the most part. It meant more before algos became the norm. "Well, price does come back to
Unfinished Business..." OK, fine but 200 period moving average crossovers work sometimes too. If someone can make $$ from
Unfinished Business, then great, more power to them. My point is that Mike has the only Footprint chart that plots
different aspects of the Footprint beyond what everyone already knows.
Let us know when your updated and improved Footprint is available, I'd like to check it out. JM
Thank you very much for your answer, I will have a look at your suggestion with the OFT 5.0. My question about what you are missing in your Footprint indicators is, as already mentioned, not about the "normal" things that everybody already has and nobody uses. I'm talking about things that can be helpful in everyday trading, such as a calculation graphically displayed instead of laboriously comparing it with other candles. I'm also aware that most do not know and use the basic things. I'm talking here to the experienced users who know what they are missing ;-) Feel free to PM me if you want to be up-to-date. Thank you again for your feedback.
Just looked at it, OFT 5.0 has some interesting features. This software I personally would not buy, because I can not test it before buying. It is also very expensive, there are good and cheaper alternatives on the market.

One this I've noticed is the missing feature of scaling on the chart. I know its probably really hard to do. The cluster (footprint) chart on Quantower scales pretty good. NQ is really hard to look at from the footprints.
Access to the plots for strategies. Im trying to build a strategy for stacked imbalances right now but the footprint chart isnt consistently triggering the variable.
Minimum imbalance size. Would be nice to filter out small imbalances
some kind of special coloring or drawing for a candle with heavy volume and delta.
