Can someone please help me with the following? These are momentum charts.
1) Why the image 2 is different than image 1? Image 2 is after refresh (Ctrl R)
2) How to automate refresh every minute?
3) What logic prompts turn from red to green if you go with momentum Bar 1 - daily. Somehow it's repainting after refresh.
Thanks!
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I do not see any images in your post, but if you create non standard bar types in TS using an underlying resolution greater than 1 tick you will receive different results between historical charts and realtime results. In realtime the non standard bar types can react to tick by tick changes, while historical results will depend on the underlying resolution you specify.
You can test this by watching a chart develop in realtime using a resolution above 1 tick (daily as it appears to be the case in your situation) and at the end of the day open another chart with the same settings, and one with 1 tick resolution, and compare the differences between the three.
Although @ABCTG may be willing to open your pdf's to see the images, as a rule, most people simply won't be, especially when there is a simpler alternative that you can use.
If you just capture your image in any imaging tool (I am using the built-in Windows snipping tool here -- Start > Windows Accessories > Snipping Tool) and drop the image into that big blue box on the left of the forum's edit window (the one that says "Drag and Drop Attachments" and "Paste Images" ), it will show the image within the text of your post.
For example:
Here I just copied the image of this edit window as I was composing this post into the clipboard, and did a Ctl-V to paste it into the blue box. It creates a stored image with a link that shows where it will appear. You can move the link to change the location if you like. (It will also offer to open a file, but you can ignore that, unless you have a saved file you want to import.)
This is not always something that people realize right away, but it will simplify posting and discussing charts enormously.
Bob.
