A real newbie here!
I need to take baby steps. I'd like to learn futures trading, starting from scratch.
I'd like to learn the mechanics of Sierra Charts and disciplined methodologies for trading.
Any suggestions on how to get started on this education journey will be greatly appreciated! So far I've been poking around futures.io but need direction and focus.
Thanks all!

@Rayray56

Welcome, I trust that you will find the community here supportive.

Depending on your level of knowledge, there may be different avenues that are appropriate.

I started with finding books on securities and trading to give me a general idea about the different products, pros and cons, etc.

FIO is a great resource to ask questions. Especially for newbies, you may find that 99% of questions have already been asked before, hence using the search tools is going to give you the best results. Feel free to ask if you are unsure how to use that.

I have seen that you have somewhat been involved in the trading in fixed income. Given you want to trade futures perhaps one place to get started would be to take a closer look at US Treasuries futures such as the 10-Year T-Note, one of the most liquid products around.

As for Sierra Charts I don't use it myself but there is a subforum section dedicated to it, so your best bet is to ask specific questions in there.

Good luck in your journey!

Thanks Xplorer!
Good advice. I'll check out FIO and the subforms.
