Good Evening,

I am interested in trading the Indian Rupee currency *futures* ( not Forex ).

I am wondering if anyone here trades it?

If so, which broker are you using and how much initial margin are they charging you?

Thanks.

I considered it a few years back when SGX started to offering INR futures but it was inverse futures INR/USD. Its liquid volume on 11.3.22 was 55000 contracts commissions is on tiered by IBKR 1,71USD per side tick size 0,01 tick value (2USD). They offer also USD/INR futures 0 liquidity and USD/INR monthly expiry friday volume was 23 contracts. Second exchange is DGCX but its not offered by IBKR they offer mini and micro both inverse and USD/INR quanto futures but volume after time on inverse INR/USD is down daily on current contract is now 10000 contracts on Quanto USD/INR Futures was volume on current march contract friday about 5000 contracts. Most liquid is on SGX exchange and you would need data feed from NSE India USD/INR daily volume is about 3000000 contracts. Trading time is 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mumbai time.Toronto time 10:30PM to 7:30AM

1. data I have used from US based data provider eSignal but they havent provide data from NSE India but from MSE India and was filtered (snapshot data ) and than they increase fees for no-US exchanges and total mothly cost would be 300USD
2. Becose it was Inverse INR/USD
