Crude prices 10 years from now

I scanned all the months of crude oil today, and the price decreases the further out you go. I expected that. But then, in the April 2032 contract, it jumps back up to today's levels. Why is that?

Probably a bad price from wherever you are getting it. There is 0 open interest in that contract. The only contracts that have OI that far out are the Dec. contracts.

Final settlements from 3 10 22 show 64.23 for that contract.

You're right. It seems any website powered by Barchart has funny quotes starting April 2032
