Hi, as a title, my question is, How do you notice an increase of volatility?
i'll explain.
I work on FDAX , my operative workspace is a 8 point ,
so my trades range from a few seconds to 20-30 minutes.

I often realize that my entry time is wrong even if the operation is right.

so I'm trying to figure out how to fix the timing and understand when an increase in volatility is imminent.

In your experience, how do you realize this is going to happen? What are you looking at?

I hope I have explained, thank you for your attention.

It would be helpful if you posted a chart that illustrates what you consider to be lack of volatility and increased volatility. Not sure what an 8 point workspace is... range bars ? Knowing this would make it easier to help you.
That your trades last from a few seconds ( increased volatility?) to 30 Min. ( lack of volatility ?) suggests you are trading in both situations if this is true. Are you doing so profitably with the same methods or do you adjust?

I associate increased volatility with attempts to change a trend as the "other side" makes a stand and pushes back against those in temporary control of price movement. If you analyze what happens after an increase in volatility you may better understand its significance as a comment on the underlying dynamics. Usually a test of important support or resistance that results in a reversal of trend.
