Is there an advantage to studying The Disciplined Trader before studying Trading In The Zone?

I googled it but did not find a direct comparison.

Thanks!

TIZ is much more pertinent than the older DT in my opinion. GO with what most everyone says, that is read TIZ if you want to improve your trading psychology and success.. Good luck.

DT is an old idea, good but nothing to do with TIZ, go to this last but one word, this book and his videos in Internet are NOT for read alone like more info, you will be need to believe and make a part of yourself if you want to become profitable.

Thank you @ApexTraderFunding. I bookmarked his vids on YT. I'll have a go at them after I finish TIZ.

I am half way through TIZ. Very cool!

I've read them both, which is a little bit of a struggle because Mark wasn't a great writer. I think that you can skip DT and just go with TITZ. Also watch the videos.

Mark isn't a psychologist and it shows in his prescription. Although his analysis of a trader's likely problems is great, his solution is too simple and probably won't be enough for many people. I'd suggest you add another book after TITZ - Jared Tendler's The Mental Game of Trading.
