Hello,

I have a lifetime account with NT8 and I daytrade futures from Canada.

So far due to some previous arrangements, Canadians who want to use NT8 are forwarded to GFF Brokers.

Does anyone know of any discount futures brokerages that can use NT8?

I do about 200RT per day on /ES, and the commissions are not as good with GFF as they are elsewhere ive seen online.. the problem is the "elsewheres" dont have access to NT8.

Thanks!

GFF is who I used to use with NT8- clearing through Ironbeam.
For your purposes with heavy round trip numbers- they are the only viable option I know of. You could also use Interactive Brokers- but their margins are much much higher- closer to exchange requirements.

It also differs depending on what province you are in- with regards to which discount brokerages will take you.

You pretty much have it. GFF and then AMP as well. I've done a ton of research into it and unless someone comes out of left field with another option that's been hiding under a rock that's about it.

GFF's been great though.

Yeah, I forgot to add, Daytrade margins are $400 per full contract [ ES/NQ ] not sure about the others. . You can't really beat that. You do have to request that though.. the back office is a little archiac but it works.

Good luck!
