This is my first post and I have no idea how to direct my questions or if I need to, so please forgive me.

In Bloodhound you use two Timeframes, one when you establish a chart and a second for any indicator used within a Solver. My problem is that when in NT7, the Timeframe as a parameter for the indicator within the Solver changes whenever I leave Bloodhound and then I cannot get meaningful results. I cannot find a way to get it saved. In NT8, I am given the option of Nexgen Dynamic Renko Bars when establishing a chart but that option is not available as a parameter for an indicator within a Solver. I am interested in getting any information that I can as to what each timeframe controls or is used for and is there a way to lock in the parameters in NT7?

Hi,

I will try to help with the question about time frames for NT8 (I've never used NT7).

If I understand your question correctly, I think the answer is that the solvers aren't given a time frame on an individual basis - they are nested under a specific time frame. So, in your example, if you create a second chart series with Nexgen Dynamic Renko Bars, any solver under that chart will be calculated based on those chart parameters. For example on this template, the highlighted solver would automatically calculate from the Renko chart it's listed under:

If you're looking to learn more about Bloodhound (and there's a lot - I've been using it for about a year and still discover new angles and ideas constantly), I would start with the link below and the list of old workshops. The text is searchable so you can easily find keywords, and I also copied it into another document just to read through and get an idea of what could be done.

Finally, the guys at @SharkIndicators are extremely helpful, so if any of this isn't what you need, I'm sure they can answer your questions.

Feel free to reach out if anything is unclear.

Mike

Great answer Mike!

BloodHound for signals, and BlackBird for trade management.
