Hi traders,

I need your help, How to do multi time frame for Tick Charts?. For example:

1. 500 ticks
2. 1500 ticks
3. 4500 ticks.

Plotting EMA 89 for everyone in main chart (500 ticks).
Thanks for your time.

Carlos,

Your set up, is ok for me. I am a intermediate easy language in tradestation. I am working to integrate a MTF (500, 1500,4500 ticks) but tradestation only support MTF in (with base of time) no transactions (ticks), but I don't find a solution.

I used to scalp a lot. From my experience the kind of Tick-charts and average do not add value.
Perhaps it is not necessary that you bother with the problem you want to solve.
If you look long enough at a 1second or even 10 second chart of only the one same market you start to see patterns.
Adding several VWAPs probably is more helpful than simple-moving averages.

If you use tools showing you the orderfow of an instrument, for example QuantTower/Sierra Charts/Jigsaw..., you probably learn much faster the behavior/character/features of your chosen market.

Nevertheless, in the Elite section or on other internet websites, like from Multicharts, chances are good that someone already solved your problem in the last 20 years.
