Hi y'all. I am familiar with the hot key in NT8 to move my stop to break even, but was wondering if there is an option to move a stop for instance by a set number of ticks with hot keys?
For instance: A trade moves a few points in your favor and you move your stop to BE. It then continues to move in your favor...it would be nice to press a hot key to move your stop up a programmable amount of ticks. Has someone developed this?
Thanks.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Hum.. did not know about that, maybe because I am not a DOM user..
@icedfrosty have you ever thought about TickHunter and hot keys?
@90bideven TH isn't for dom but worth a look..
Clicking the SL+ button on TickHunter will move your stop-loss closer to the market by "2 jump ticks"...if you hold the CTRL (control) key on your keyboard and then click the SL+ button then the stop-loss will move the previous candle low for a buy position and previous candle high for a sell position...said another way...manual trail 1 bar back. Clicking the BE+ button on TickHunter will attempt to move your stop-loss to "4 initial ticks". If price moves in your favor further, you can click the BE+ button again and the stop-loss will moved "2 jump ticks" after the initial break-even 4 ticks. If price is quickly moving in your favor, you can hold the CTRL (control) key on your keyboard and then click the BE+ button, this will move the stop-loss "4 turbo jump ticks". All initial ticks and jump ticks are configurable within TickHunter.
Wow, did not know that! Will test it for sure!
(The 1st or 2nd posts of Tickhunter threads would be a phenomenal place to have this insights on how the tool works)
OK, got it installed...I LOVE to learn via YouTube. Have you posted something there? Seems like it has a HUGE amount of functionality. Many thanks for the work.
