I haven't taken the course.
A good resource for Market Profile is Jim Dalton who wrote a couple of books. His website has lots of videos.

From what I have heard Merritt Black's approach to Market Profile is supposed to be quite different from that of other traders/mentors.

People criticize Dalton for being too philosophical about MP and for mainly showing after the fact trade examples... not sure what to make of those claims.

MP itself is nothing special, it's how you build a strategy around it that makes the difference, obviously. I bought Mind over Markets" and "Markets in Profile" by Dalton ages ago and found the read very dry, theoretical and tiring.
