Hello,
after all those changes and politics with Sierra Chart all the time I want to switch to another solution.
I scalp very short term, different contracts through the last years, but the past 2 years mostly NQ and some ES.
Very short term means an average holding time of just a few seconds.
So I need a very fast datafeed and a good and stable platform. SC worked always perfectly with the CQG feed I used. But with a few incidents I read about in the past few months and the somewhat strange politics of Sierra Chart, I want a change.
I used Rithmic RTrader years ago, mostly on the FDAX and FESX back then. Never had any problems, but those markets have not been as fast on high volume as the NQ these days.
I am testing Rithmic RTrader on a paper account right now. And I experience frequent lags/slowdowns, both on the NQ DOM and on the NQ chart I use (a 13 tick chart).
Isnt Rithmic supposed to be a very stable and fast datafeed ? Or is it the platform ? Should I use the Rithmic feed with another platform ? Or is it maybe just that the paper trading servers do not have the same capacity as the live trading servers ?
Maybe some of you can help me with this.
I would really like to use the Rithmic feed in combination with the RTrader platform. I like the idea of having datafeed and platform from the same provider, less interface error potential.
