Hey guys, I hope I am putting this in the right section. I used to lead a trading group in the Midwest for years prior to the pandemic. I found the meetings cathartic even though most of the time was spent on Q&A. I trade full-time and had no idea how important these meetups were to my work-life balance. I'd like to start or join another group, but this time online. Ideally it would be a small group of serious traders (English-speaking) with enough experience to be able to relate. Having nobody in your life that speaks "the language" is a drawdown (knocks on wood) in and of itself.
I was thinking we might do some sort of FIO Happy Hour podcast where people could join in after the RTH close and hang out with some casual trading talk.
Sorry, but we can't allow discord links, or links to other outside chat groups, in the forum.
The reason is given in the Terms of Use:
-----------------
"Discord Links
'We disallow Discord links due to abuse by vendors, using them as a way to pitch to our membership and bypass our site rules. This means that across the board we disallow Discord links, even if the Discord was established for completely innocent purposes. Sorry, you can thank abusive vendors for this."
-----------------
We'll need to have any chatting activity stay within the forum, where it is subject to moderation to keep it within the rules.
Bob.
