Ninja 7, how to buy an upclose or sell a downclose? I don't want to get in BEFORE the close of the current bar, but if I wait until the new bar is already started I can't get in where I want to. How can I make the order executes right at the close of the bar?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Entering "next bar" at market causes slippage between the ask and bid. But entering at market should get filled.
Entering "next bar" on a limit at this bar's close does not guarantee entry. But a limit order should not have slippage.
You could try buying "next bar" with a "market if touched" limit order at one tick below this bar's close. No guartees of fill or fill price, but it gives you a chance to enter on this bar's close.
There are several 3rd party add on tools available which enable you to buy/sell/close on up/down close of any given bar type.
They are e.g. available from ninZa.co and Right Line Trading (NDT Platform tool)....and there might be some other vendors as well.
